David Lombardi is a great reporter. Chat sports we have a Eagles fan who does Niner coverage and pretends to be a Niner fan.We cant even get a Niners fan to cover this team .David on the other hand is all about the Niners and thats the way it should be .
Seriously, does any other NFL sports analyst/reporter give this kind of quality reporting? This is a great example of David Lombardi doing a wonderful, compact 11 minute guided interview/survey of 4 of our promising rookies.
@@SienaaBee Did he even mention The Athletic in this video? Did he even put a link to it in the description? No, and No. Obviously, you don't think highly of this guy's work - "a lame tiktocker all shaky and shizzz" - so, why are you wasting your time here?? Kinda weird. I never have time for YT channels I don't like. Personally, I like his vast sports history knowledge - like the little Joe DiMaggio anecdote tacked on at the end, that he started professionally on the San Francisco Seals before transferring to the NY Yankees - while showing the place DiMaggio practiced as a kid. I like David's use of stats and advanced metrics and his showing player's RAS and Spider charts, etc. His player and team analysis and determinations are consistently well-balanced and fact-based, loaded with historic comparisons for context. And I like the short local food and locale "color" to augment his reporting. Just a lot to like. But you're certainly allowed to have a different opinion. I just don't get why you're here. I don't care for Grant Cohn's 49er reporting, but you won't find my comments at his YT videos. I just don't have time. I think you're a closet admirer of David Lombardi. It's OK to come out of the closet!!
@@Sonleon925 I feel like your comment is one written in cement. You can’t do that with any rookie coming out. Gonna need to let it play out. I’m excited regardless. Seems like he has a HOF mentality. On the surface of course… he has to perform. But I like it…
@@Sonleon925 I don’t believe that. But time will tell. Love the kids attitude and mental fortitude. He doesn’t grade low in athleticism. He has a great surrounding personnel situation to learn from.
Man as soon as these guys hit their NFL game pace quickness strength speed and agility potentials it'll not only make for smooth player transitions and injury depth but also the inevitable roster cutdowns will get at least a couple of them swiped and paid elsewhere wait and see
We got some DAWGS this draft im excited how theyll play come preseason and im calling Malik Mustapha and Jason Cowing as My Defensive and Offensive Steals for this draft respectively
What I want to know is how can he look so good after flying back from a holiday in Europe, switching seamlessly between time zones, and actually making sense! If that's me, I'd need two weeks to even be able to speak English again!!
Isaac is well spoken, great perspective when i listened to the whole interview. Hes got to work on his contact balance for sure thats the first thing that shows on tape. But this kid talks like pros pro
I can see our base defense having three safeties, one at rover. Malik has been radar clocked at 23mph. More reason for CBs to jam at the LOS. Pass rush gets one more Mississippi
I wonder if they are going to have to put Green at free safety at some point, seeing that it looks like we have 3 good strong safeties against the run, but no fast free safties that can help on the deep ball.
😂 Interesting insights as always. What college see in player or how used might not fit how used in the NFL. TE Latu was D-line before switching to TE. Scouting is not just watching tape. Have to understand how player was used. Project how to use on their team plans. Also check personality too. No half effort or prima dona guys. But try hard player has to have talent too. Assume scouting isn't just measureables n college play (school level competition could be factors) Everyone missed on Brock. Lucky, Niner saw talent. Took a flyer on Brock. Hope, Niners got some gems in this draft. Jury is still out on last yr draft. 1 starter. KR Moody, wasn't money or Robbie yet. S Brown started for Huf injury. The rest need to break thru. Might be hard. Niners seems to favor vets. If Snead is right, coaches have a bias/favorite already.

💯 Chase is an absolute joke. David is on an absolute higher level than most of these other reporters.
He’s said multiple times he is not a niners fan lol it’s simply a job to report for him

He also represents the City very well.
👍💯
Yes.. yes there are many.. this dude is just trying to sell subs for the paper he writes for. Filming like a lame tiktoker all shaky an shizzz

I’m convinced this is David’s burner account
I'm most impressed by David's ability to travel and be literally anywhere in the world at any given time.
Malik is a guy I’ll be watching closely. I think he could very well be the best draft pick. Star position? Quite possibly
Just don’t put him on an island. He’ll get exposed big time

@@49ersSportsTalk I feel like he does a lot right. Box safety near the line of scrimmage ok. But in deep waters he vulnerable

I think primarily he's one of several of the pickups that addresses our poor run defense last year. Will possibly be the best tackler of the DB's.
I'm all in....Go 2024 Niners!!!
Green couldn't have answered that question any better
Love malik in the alexander mcqueen shirt man has style and muscle
I'm super excited about Guerendo.

They All have great potential and are articulate, I like that. They don’t do an “uhhh uhhh uhhh” even as a Rookie.
I hope Mason get a chance this year.
dave crushing the content again...
Staley's going to have fun using Malik all over. Can't wait to see what he cooks up.
Let's go Niners 💫
Love the bonus history lesson re Di'Maggio...
Malik is Lott🤔

Could David ever stop doing a walk analysis.
another press corner.
Isaac Guerendo runs like a faster bigger Jordan Mason.
So if you play a lot in college you get experience credit. If you don’t play much…you have lots of tread left…
