Yes there are annual fees for your license but you would be working at that time and considered an annual expense of being a dentist, similar to accountant fees, driving fees, and other expenses. In Ontario RCDSO license fee is just above $2000 and ODA fees just above 2000, total around $4500-5000/year. It is not an issue once you start working.

The fees are same for all applicants.
