I am Pomeranian, I am from Brazil, it is so beautiful to see people speak this language, especially in the USA, I thought no one spoke, I hope the translation is correct, Portuguese / English
We think it is beautiful too. A few years back we met a radio announcer from Brazil at a Czech Musik festival and he spoke the same beautiful Platt that we did.
I knew about the Walloon language (a Langue d’Oïl from Belgium closely related to French) spoken in the area around Namur in Wisconsin, but I wasn’t aware of Wisconsin Low German! That’s awesome! Is the language still spoken in Wisconsin? I’m a speaker of Louisiana (a.k.a. Cajun) French, so it’s always fascinating to discover other non-English European language varieties spoken in the U.S. 😊
Bin zwar ursprünglich kein deutscher aber kenne eine Dame aus Wisconsin die mich darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat und ich deswegen auf dieses Video gestoßen bin. Sehr interessant zu sehen wie Menschen ihre alte Kultur ihre Sprache etc nicht so leicht aufgegeben haben obwohl schon fasst 2 Jahrhunderte vergangen sind Aber in DE erwartet man dass die Menschen sich innerhalb von 2,5 Std integrieren bzw assimilieren😊 İrgendwie merkwürdig.
