- ► Join me as I eat at the Downtown BUFFET Restaurant in Disneyland Paris's Hotel New York - the ART OF MARVEL. This buffet dining experience offers a great selection of cuisine, from Classic American, to Italian and China Town dishes. I show you around the buffet and dining room, try several items from the buffet and share my thoughts on the quality of the food, as well as how safe I felt throughout the experience. We also have a late drink at the SKYLINE Bar in Disney's Hotel New York, where we spot Spider Man flying past a few times and enjoy the fun atmosphere.

I ate in Downtown just as it became a buffet again and I loved it! I tried as many options as I could, I was particularly impressed with the vegan burger, I've been thinking about it ever since lol
Yeah, the vegan burger is surprisingly very good! I can't wait to visit it again one day!

After watching this video i’ll make sure to go to downtown the next time i’m at DLP. The food looks amazing!! I managed to go to the sky bar the last time I was there, and had the same reaction as Eddie when I first saw spiderman jumping by 😂 I think all round they did such a fantastic job on this hotel’s renovation!
Haha Skyline Bar is so much fun with Spiderman just flying by from time to time! Agreed, love the new modern look of Hotel New York :)

Okay so I didn’t plan on booking any restaurants (I only went to quick services restaurants) but you definitely convinced me and for my next trip I HAVE to go there! I saw so many things I want to try... especially the Chinatown section! Thank you, thanks to you I’ll experience a “”””real”””” restaurant for the first time! Thank you! I remember seeing your previous video when it was a sit down restaurant and I’m glad that it went back to buffet because I’d be too embarrassed to ask a waiter for things I want haha I prefer picking it myself after seeing it

Oh lordy..watching this so early in the morning and all I can think of is this buffet! We've got the Manhatten booked, do you think the buffets are similar? The hotel looks so incredible, we've 2 nights there early March 🙌. Bags are packed already 😳 🤣. Thank you as always Sam for taking time to spoil us all with your vlogs xx
Haha love that you're already packed!! ;) Manhattan is a sit down meal, so not a buffet. And a bit more upmarket. Given the choice, I'd actually go for Manhattan over Downtown. But Downtown is one of the better buffet restaurants in Disneyland Paris, when it comes to buffets! Thanks as always for your lovely comments Jen x

The pork was a little chewy indeed, last time was better. But I really love the taste of it. Downtown was so much better than expected

I think downtown is my fave buffet food from the ones I’ve tried at dlp so far (I preferred it to inventions…I know unpopular opinion!! Maybe I’ve just forgotten how good inventions is as it’s been so long!)
Haha I agree with you tbh! I've eaten at Inventions maybe 3 times and never cared much for the food, mainly just enjoyed the character interactions. But the buffet at Downtown genuinely has a lot of good food I enjoy :)

Please may I ask what sort of time you were there and what sort of time the queues for Skyline start? Got a 7.30 dinner reservations for Downtown when we come next year and hoping to pop in to Skyline first for a drink, wondering what time to target arriving!

I think you do need a reservation, but it's worth checking on the day, in case they have any last min cancellations :)

You absolutely can! Anyone can visit the Skyline Bar, there just may be a bit of a queue for it during busy times x

Finally managed to get a booking here! The only problem is it's the 10.30 pm sitting.
Was there still loads of choice of food at the time you were there?
Ahh YES! Happy for you! With later buffet sittings, there's almost always still a lot of choice - the only difference is, sometimes the kitchen might close half an hour or so after your sitting, so it's recommended to get your main courses asap. Desserts will be around for longer. Don't worry though, your servers/cast members should warn you if this happens so you can have plenty of time to enjoy your meal, still x

When will it be possible again to reserve a table in this restaurant via the Disney app? I've been trying to reserve a table for March via the app for weeks... 😞
For some reason, both of the Hotel New York restaurants have become incredibly difficult to book on the app for a while now :( But as far as I'm aware, if you call them, you should still be able to get a reservation. They might have just taken them off the app to primarily save them for the guests, as they're both quite popular restaurants. Give them a call and hopefully it'll work! x
I ate here last week! There weren’t any tables available in the app but i went to the concierge in the hotel. Just ask there or call them :)

I got it on the app, but it's a popular restaurant so sometimes the places on the app get taken quickly. I'd say don't try on the day of your visit - normally they hold back some places for resort guests and if no one wants them, they'll give them to other guests closer to the time :) Also worth just checking at the hotel reception when you get there, in case they have last min cancellations. x
Hello there, I work here. If you can't book from the app, ask the concierge, or better yet, try your luck at the restaurant directly. We are the only ones who can override the system if needed and we will be more than happy to help you book a table 😁
@@Einhildur I love this 😀. We are going to DLP for the first time (from the United States) in July of 2023 and we cannot afford to stay there but would love to eat at the buffet and tour the hotel. We are huge Marvel fans!
To be honest, I see things quite differnt: The food in all of the restaurants simply is convenient food from mass production. The pricing is so exaggerated expensive no matter where you are in the Disney premises, it leaves me speechless. Of course, everyone has a different tast but I can recommedn to eat outside Disney and for breakfast (28€ per Person!!) to visit a Casino Supermarket in advance to buy fruits, cereals, milk etc.because you have fridges in the New York Hotel. This is mainly an advice for people who are arriving by car because there you have a certain flexibility.

Sometimes the app sells out of reservations, but it's worth checking directly at the parks in case they have some last min availability. I would pop into Hotel New York's concierge and check there :) Good luck!
What the deal with kids under 3 we are taking our nearly 3 year old so not sure the deal with that
Under 3’s can eat for free in the buffets or share your plate at a sit down restaurant or you can buy them a kids meal
