German war cemetery La Cambe in Normandy . The final restingplace of over 21000 soldiers.

Since it's been a while since i uploaded another Normandy video here is the last one i made.
La cambe is located in Calvados Normandy. As you can see all the gravestones are grey which gives this cemetery a bit of a depressing impression. Non the less it is very nice maintained. Most of these soldiers were drafted and had no choice but to fight for the fatherland, it was either join the army or get shot because of refusing to join the war. By the end of the war they might not believe in victory anymore so they fought for their lives, comrades and going back to Germany and hopefully see their parents or wives again. These men paid the highest price.
