You look beautiful. Years ago when I was shopping the woman behind me in line had gorgeous makeup. She looked beautiful and stunning. I asked her what she wad wearing and she said Dior. You look like she did with this Loreal makeup. I love the soft radiance of it. I have recently tried Loreal True Match serum foundation in the color C4. It has the same soft radiance and it is really affordable at $14.99. I really love and appreciate these affordable 'Bougie' look videos. You do a great job being real, honest and relatable, showing us your mistakes and then what to do to make it work.

Hi Michelle, I'm so grateful for you. Your transparency throughout each video is so appreciated❤️. I'm 67 and in the last few years, most likely due to the loss of my daughter, followed by considerable weight loss, my face has changed. It's thinner. The deeper lines and looser skin have taken up residence. Sometimes I feel self conscious and sad about it, but most of the time I just carry on. I've been a widow for 12 years, but I still want to look my best. I'm not unrealistic concerning my makeup expectations.
However, I do sometimes wish I could have some kind of work done to soften, lift, and firm... Well, I can't afford it so that's that! I love makeup but am a sheer coverage gal. I loved how you just spot concealed (with concealer) in the first video I watched the other day. I tried it afterwards and liked the results.
Today I loved how you treated the texture (on the parentheses) by blending. My texture, which I'm consistently treating) is on one side of my face in the cheek area. I'm excited about your choice of a darker concealer. I am going to try it. I have fair skin and my concealer is a lighter shade. Now I'm going to try a darker shade.
I feel better about applying my makeup when I watch you. You're honest and easy on the heart and mind. You understand how to use makeup beautifully on a mature face. I get more confident, which I've always needed.

Love these drugstore videos. This and the Oil of Olay in the pump with no swirls for radiance is so good. Please do more of these ole school products since so many of us have older products and not the newest, expensive and most viral products. Most of us have so many items we forgot about so these videos get us to dig them back out and use.😂

Ohh, that makes so much sense about doing the brows before any foundation on your face. No wonder I have trouble getting the brow pencil to work properly. Probably should have thought of that myself 😅

Would love to see an all face of LA girl. It’s in cvs as well as Ulta. Some of my favorite products. This soft glam is pretty. If you do LA girl it could be glam, whimsical because of shade range in eye products, their lips products are some of the best. I use very high end but reach for them often.

@@maturemakeupmasterclass love them❤️ they have a product that comes like a foundation, but is white, blue and a neutral shade that is supposed to either lighten a too dark foundation and one to deepen a too light foundation. I’m curious how that would be. Apparently it’s good because it’s usually low on stock at my Ulta! I have an Armani Luminous Silk that’s too deep I ordered… that I’ve mixed with light It cc and it’s beautiful! It would probably be good in your kit.
L’Oréal does have a translucent powder it’s only sold at Walmart and it’s on the bottom shelf. It’s called hydra powder and it’s what I use when I am just bumming around the house. It’s light weight and good for most skin types. I am combination skin and I love it

I've used Loreal True Match concealer/corrector pencils for years... colors 401 Bisque Neutral &/or 405 Yellow Warm.. these were out long before the high end sticks.. I have been wearing make-up since I was sixteen when I started work. That was in 1967. I started with Revlon and my mother was ok with me wearing make-up but she wanted it to look natural. Funny enough it was a dress code requirement of my job in a city solicitors office. Nobody would dare tell people to wear make-up these days. Over the years I have experimented with many different brands but through it all Revlon has always been one of my favourites. I wonder if you could do a Revlon theme one time please? I smiled when you said always make sure your face is dry.... I live in a very humid area and my face just drips after applying moisturiser. It makes putting foundation on tricky. Yes, I can use a fan but as soon as you walk away from the fan the sweat comes back. I just have to live with it.

I love this make up look on you. I got this eyeshadow on your recommendation on an earlier video, new way to wear this quad. I love it. I’m totally with you on literally breaking a nail on the darn packaging and never being able to read the color or inso, so tiny!!! Lol. I’ll check out the crayon corrector/concealer.
Love the half fancy and half casual dressing. I work from home so I get it. Lol. For all my meetings I do a messy bun and quick Seint bronzer, 😊 blush with lips. Quick.cjangr of top, bottoms are still a PJs or sweats. Lol

Even though I have Seint, I do have a lot of other products too. And I love how you use different makeup to show that it's also beautiful. I love a lot of ELF products and L'Oreal. The makeup is good and applying it the way you show us mature gals makes a difference too. I love all kinds of makeup. As a 45 year old, I am careful with powder too! I am oily in my tzone so that's where I place it. It's funny to think back on the days that we probably all used big fluffy brushes and powered our whole faces and wondered why our makeup looked cakey. 😂😅 Thank you so much for the look good close up club! I do the “airbrush” Seint with my Sonia Roselli skincare and it’s BEAUTIFUL!! I used the 3D fluffy end brush and came out GORGEOUS!!! I have never used Catrice before so perhaps that. Thank you!! Definelty ordering the concealer! I'm a bit dry under my eyes and concealer settles a bit so I love your idea of using setting spray on a brush. I don't have a lot of L'Oreal products but they know how to do mascaras really well. I've been using the Age Perfect Serum foundation religiously the last few months . I'd love to see you do a video using Almay. I usually pass by their products but I'd love to see the look you could create using them. Revolution Beauty is another one or Catrice.

I do so love a soft glam look, and honestly, it's sort of my daily go-to look. Loreal makes fantastic drugstore products and is my own favorite drugstore brand for lip products and mascara. I adore the waterproof version of the Telescopic mascara and it's one of the few I can wear on my lower lashes without smudging and flaking. (My naturally oily skin melts regular mascara, and many waterproof and tubing mascaras as well, so when I find one that lasts I'm thrilled!) I'd love to see a Wet 'n Wild face, or L.A. Girl as both brands seem to be woefully underappreciated. Wet 'n Wild makes a great mascara - the Max Volume Plus waterproof. Also, I think Colorpop would be a great line to demo. It's not drugstore per se, but many products are available at Ulta, or can be ordered online and they really do cover all the bases and their eyeshadow palettes are amazing!

I used to use L’Oréal before I started with Estée Lauder. I always used the L’Oréal tender rose blush and the Mauve lipstick in the gold tube were always in my Go To’s! Love that you showed a full face of this. How did it wear throughout the day? Maybe try a full face of NYX? Also, any recommendations for a water oil like Sonia Roselli? ❤
