Hiking 105 Switchbacks out of Yosemite Valley up Snow Creek Trail From Mirror Lake Loop

- Starting from the Mirror Lake Trailhead at shuttle stop #17 in Yosemite Valley, this challenging hike is just under 10 miles round-trip with a grueling 3000 foot elevation gain to the top of Yosemite Valley. Going up the 105 switchbacks is quite challenging due to being so exposed the whole way up. But the views of half dome and Yosemite Valley just keep getting better as you assend. Catch all my videos @theyosemiteguyd to keep up on all my hiking action.
Some amazing views again from this TANK of a hiker. Love the vids. Keep them up.
Thanks, the views were awesome! I'm glad you liked it!
Been to Yosemite quite a few times and never knew about this trail! Great video, thanks for the info!
Yeah, it's kind of a butt kicker but less crowded, even in the summertime. Thanks for checking it out!
Hey there Yosemite Guy'd good to see you out there. November in the valley is such a great time! The crowds have left! 😅
I don't think I could do that exposed ledge, I have a healthy fear of heights, just watching you made me a little queasy. The views are nice at the top, thanks for taking me along!
I'm anxiously awaiting the rain were promised! Take Good Care!
Yes, I am very happy to be able to squeeze in another hike with nice weather, but I would love some good precipitation for Mother Nature. Thanks for watching!
Always love your videos !!
Thanks man! :)
vfor sure ! I commented even before I watched the video. Watching it now while making my lunch - really enjoyed seeing your culinary masterpiece on the trail ! Would love to try this hike some time, I would probably have to backpack it though. No way I get up there in 3 hours
Excited to see a new video today. Good looking meal as well. Your hidden falls video from earlier had some corrupt files and missing footage but it may have been the most adventurous barefoot scramble, hope you can try it again sometime. Very cool that your soles enjoy the challenge of so much aggressive terrain. You waited to take off your flips until you were on a less crowded section, hope no one is giving you guff. The fall colors looked great as did all the scenery. Thanks for your quick edit and superfast posting. I truly look forward to all your videos. Thanks
Hey Archie! I look forward to your comments 😄 I will definitely give Hidden Falls another try next year. Thanks for watching!
@@theyosemiteguyd Happy Thanksgiving !
@@archiescottincny Thanks man! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! I hope you get to eat a nice turkey burrito 😂😂
Your videos get me through the boredom of my rowing machine exercise. Thanks for another one full of awesome scenery. Love Yosemite!
Nice! My favorite show to watch on the route machine is Hot Ones! Thanks for watching 😊
Spectacular day with that sky, how beautiful to see these landscapes changing... the climb was no joke today... image minute 12:28 my favorite😊👍💪
It was definitely a beautiful day! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video bro I wish I was there
Thanks man!
I have to go light on the Scorpion Sauce too. It’s good though 😊
My bottle is starting to run low but its lasted me all year! Lol
One of my favorite trails! Looking forward to the video. Have you gone on up the trail to Mt Watkins? More tough trail, but great vistas from the top!
I haven't done Watkins yet. Definitely on the list though!!
I just completed tuolomne to white wolf. climbed 3,800 feet on the last day
That sounds like a cool hike!
How long did it take you to get to the North Dome 5.3 mark. Try this hike again later in the day the sun will shine on Half Dome and Tuolumne Canyon.
It was a little under 2 hours up I think. :). I’ll have to do a late day hike up there this summer
More Granite less Martha Steward.
The Snow Creek Falls trail with an empty Falls is not very intriguing. I’d love to see a video made in April
Or May…
That's a good idea. :) Can't wait!
Nice to see you going barefoot
Thanks for checking it out! 😊
