I just love how this song, unlike the Frontiers themes which are sung in a hopeful tone, coming from the Sonic point of view, but this one is from the point of view of The End itself, and despite sounding just as hopeful and energetic as the others, the lyrics are just The End basking in his own almost infinite power and blaming Sonic's actions of getting back what he lost as freeing it

I agree. I get major "God in Fire" vibes from this song. While the music sounds energetic and hype, the lyrics are verry much despair inducing and degrading. This is basically THE END telling Sonic "Nice going idiot, now I'm going to literally kill EVERYONE!".
The boss fight songs aren't actually from the pov of sonic, but rather from the pov of the boss titans and the entities controlling them!

Holy crud, "You've conquered Gods and Machines" and "Like the Countless before you. Consumed, I'll leave nothing behind" might be some of my favorite lines.
The coolest part is, the whole "conquered gods and machines" line is actually based what The End actually says in their monologue during the fight.

i love that this song is literally just a musical version of the end’s monologue, it’s one thing to make a song inspired by the game, but directly adapting an existing line of dialogue as the basis for an entire song is extremely impressive. and the song is a banger too! awesome work.

THE END seems more like an iteration of DEATH, in a literal sense, "All brought to order, to neutrality, to NOTHING" implies that at the end of it all, everything amounts to nothing
The end is even stated by kishimoto (the director) to have a different appearance depending on what/who views it, to us the player we see a moon, to sonic, amy, tails, knuckles, what have you, it looks different

I can’t believe this is just a fan song
Really wish this was in the actual game, criminally underrated
This is beyond amazing and has been stuck in my head since it came out. I think you could genuinely replace “I’m Here Revisited” from Update 3 and it would fit really well. That fight was missing the monologue from the original, but this would be a way to bring it back in a different way. But on its own, “The End of All Things” is really great and stands on its own without the fight to back it. I just feel like it would have even more impact in the fight, it’s already been modded into the original fight replacing “I’m With You” so doing the same for the new fight isn’t out of the question. I guess time will tell, regardless I can’t wait for the next song you make, I’ve been following you for a while and you have grown a whole hell of a lot.
If someone didn’t know, you could probably convince them this is an official track from the OST it’s just that good.
Honestly if you were going to replace revisited you might as well replace the orchestrated one and do the thing Frontiers usually does with dividing the song into phases

You guys are Miracle of Sound/TeamHeadKick type of good, this really took me back to the time I was listening to original songs by those guys for games such as Mass Effect 3, Star Wars Battlefront and Batman Arkham Knight.
I love how the lyrics of this song make the entire premise of Frontiers chilling and quite frankly somewhat horrifying, the main lore mystery of the franchise since the 90s, that being what wiped out the Ancients and the rest of the great civilizations of ages long gone, addressed for the first not through just flashbacks but actually being unleashed and it's because of you the player (aka Sonic). And they set it up as a long-term threat, your song captures all of this sad and dramatic aspect perfectly. Keep on rocking, this was phenomenal!
I could definitely see this being the Phase 1 theme and “I’m Here - Revisited” being the Phase 2 theme, would be a fire combo no lie. This shit’s hard
I'd rather them keep the orchestral theme or merge revisited with orchestral in phase 1 and use this for the second phase. The constant replaying of I'm here gets a little redundant. Or maybe they could play The End of All Things on phase 2 for people who are playing on hard or extreme mode and I'm Here (Reviseted) for those playing on normal and easy.

@irishuisman1450 I could actually see that working. Maybe we fight The End in space, it grabs a hold of Supreme somehow and kills Sage just like it did to Supreme's original pilot. Then Sonic avenges Sage by destroying both Supreme and The End back on Earth. Sad as it is, I actually want Sage to end up dying. Not because I hate her, but because it would serve as the end of her character development that was missing in final horizon. I was also originaly disappointed that Sonic had no reaction to Sage sacrificing herself for him, so this kinda fixes that.

It spends the entire game attempting to free itself only to die mere hours after escaping confinement. It doesn't help that The End-at least the English version-has zero personality. Even the absolute worst Sonic villains have some unique characteristics.

It never set right with me that The End didn't have a proper musical theme in the game. "I'm With You" is more like a them for Sonic and Sage's alliance, but can barely be linked to The End. I'm really happy to see this issue is now fixed. Thank you so much for that. Fire song!

I'm kind of mad that I knew nothing about this song until today, because god damn! It's very different tonally compared to the main 3 boss themes, but in a way that makes *complete sense* given the context.
As a side note, 0:10 to about 0:30 actually faintly reminds me of some of Blue Stahli's work! Good shit!

Also, the guitar solo and the rest of the song makes me think of Sonic forcing himself in the song, making the instrumental a lot more hopeful contrasting with The End's less hopeful lyrics. Just something cool I thought of. And I love the Taste of Blood melody, it adds so much!
I sometimes like to imagine that a song like this would play during a second-last phase, with it being the most intense part of the fight, and the phase we actually see in the game acting as a farewell after the toughest part.
