WORLD CUP CHAMPION FOR THE 3RD TIME 🏆🥇 - Drama until the end!!

This is it ! Last World Cup of the season in Mont Saint Anne.
It was the big finale of a really competitive season, full of drama and intensity.
Coming into that weekend, after the crash in Snowshoe the week before, I wasn’t so sure about what I could pull off.
I had a big target on my back and 3 hungry lads wanting the overall for themselves.
Battling with such good riders and mates was awesome and scary at the same time.
After so much time spent on treatment and trying to get the body recovered from the back pain, I felt that it was still possible to make it happen.
There wasn’t any points awarded but I won qualifying and this turned my mindset into positive pressure and a bit more confidence.
I wasn’t as confident when I saw the rain dropping just before the biggest run of the year though…
Didn’t crack (almost) and put down a solid run, nothing amazing, just a championship run, going to the bottom, managing the risks and staying on.
Can’t explain what this overall represents as so much has happened in my life the last year. Never stopped coming back to my goals and what I loved. It was probably the toughest one I ever won, many battles inside and outside of me to be the 23 World Cup champion.
I gotta give it out to my people, at home and in the team, for being so awesome and helping on many steps on the way.
Let’s chill now and figure out a way to get better for next year.
