    Ms. Lockwood, you are so creative. I like watching and learning from you. Yesterday I watched your video about your bead organization and was so amazed at how many beads you have. Thank you again for the lessons.

    Very pretty. I have been making fringe earrings similar to these for years. My father taught me how to make native american jewelry when I was just a little girl. Nymo works great but I have used fireline and other stringing materials as well without a problem. sometimes it is just easier to get my hands on fireline. If I want nymo, I have to order it since none of the stores around here sell it.

Anyway, I don't have the bicones, but I think, as you said, I can use any beads. I am going to try this tomorrow! I just wanted to Thank You again for posting this tutorial!

    Thank you for sharing. They. are. gorgeous.. I love the pattern and use of the crystals. That 6mm is an awesome shape crystal. I am going to look for some of those..
    I love your instruction from start to your knot tying process. You have a nice cam too.
    When I started beading 4 months ago I bought 3 little bobbins of nymo and that's what I used while learning the ladder and brick stitch. I was forever piercing my thread, getting it hung on something. Had 1/2 spool left before I bought a spool of wildfire 0.15mm...thought I had died and gone to heaven.
    Thank you again Ruby. You are awesome!

    One more gorgeous project totally worth the time and effort - just so anxious to make a pair of them! Thank you so much for your vision - every one makes brick stitched earrings, but yours are just outstanding!
    The helix beads are very pretty - they reflect light differently and look unusual - I like them a lot.Thank you, Ruby - I don't want to miss any of your tutorials. Are there really people who ask you to count beads for them? Ungrateful bastards! Please, don't worry about them

    beautiful earrings, but hun you need to be more clear in your instructions, by naming the sections, and not saying bead color, unless your going to leave a completed earring in the shot the whole time, I've been doing native american beading since I was 12 and this was very hard to follow, for me lol, so a newbie would find this impossible to follow, I got it now but had to rewind quite a few times in first part to look at the earring to make sure i was feeding on colors correctly , just a suggestion keep making these pretty earring :)

    These earrings are so beautiful! I'm new to beading but I've wanted to try it for a few years now. In the instructions you say not to use Fireline. Is that a type of beading thread or beads? And what's wrong with Fireline? Is clear thread OK to use? Thanks so much for uploading and explaining how to make these earrings!

    • @RubyMLockwood
      @RubyMLockwood  Před 6 lety

      fireline is a very stiff thread so if you use it for a dangle your dangle will be like kinked so if you use a soft thread like nymo your dangle will always hang nice...hope that helps hun

      Este proyecto utiliza el tamaño de granos de la semilla 11/0 japoneses. Rubí utiliza la marca de Toho en el tutorial. Si no puede encontrar estas marcas podría intentar granos de la semilla Checa en tamaño 11/0, pero recuerda que los granos de la semilla Checa son más grandes que los japoneses.
