We are doing this with the troll car. For the rest of the hike to the glacier, was it on the road like in the video? My daughter has mobility issues and I'm hoping we can push her in her stroller instead of using a carrier.

It is on a path. It is very steep.

If you opt to hike up those stairs instead of taking the troll cars do you still need to start on a bus to get to where the hike starts or can you just start walking from the ship's pier. And in either event how long is the hike if you do that instead of the troll cars?

Hi! You cannot walk to this hike from the pier. I show the bus ride in the video.

Looking at the excursion offers there is one that just offers the bus ride to the trail.

You pay so much with NCL and you get wow 10 Minutes at glacier..........we took a tour with a company online and we were allowed 30 minutes at glacier...........troll car and bus back to ship

So between the time the troll car dropped you off and picked you pack up you had a full hour? Like you board the troll car at 12:00 pm and the return time to meet the car was 1:20 pm?
