11:03 Nah, he’s onto something. Even though I feel like Deku is a bit overhated, I can’t really blame people for not liking this character. I just wish they would give him a bit more credit. Like, of course the guy who got bullied for 10 years by a person he thought was his friend over something he didn’t have control over would have issues with his self confidence, yet for some reason people rarely bring that up.Not to mention the different people he has helped or the different villains he has fought against.
His hate is beyond forced. Same people who hate him for forgiving Bakugo are the same people that like Naruto and bro chased Sasuke for legit YEARS when Sasuke said he wanted nothing to do with him. @@CrimsonSith07 Ong. In all honesty, the ending doesn't make sense at all. Deku losing OFA shouldn't have even happened. I went back and watched the movies since I found out they've been confirmed to be canon. Deku transferred OFA to Bakugo in Heroes Rising and they used OFA so much that Deku's embers completely rab out. OFA still just transferred itself back into Deku. Deku lost OFA because he put the quirks in Shigaraki's body for less time than it was in Bakugo and was used FAR less by Shigaraki than by Bakugo. Hell, Deku still even had embers left. There was NO reason to not have history repeat and have the quirk just jump ship into Deku's body again.
I honestly wanted him to gain AFO because Yoichi (AFO's brother) said it could be the kindest quirk in the world. Hell, there was a scene with Deku and Shigaraki's fist connected for the final time and that would've been a perfect setup for that. All that setup was done just for Horikoshi to drop the ball completely. And the combination of OFA and AFO could've EASILY let him do something with the quirk singularity concept.
He prepared the ingredients in advance and still cooked nothing. This ending was garbage. I don't know why people try saying that it's "overhated".
Deku was done absolutely *foul* at the end.

I understand being upset at the previous dude for being rude, he should’ve worded it differently, but you gotta understand that literally EVERYWHERE you look, even in situations that have NOTHING to do with My hero, all you here is the same joke that already died, just over and over “put the fries in the bag”, “Deku got his girl stolen” and in the manga, none of that shit is even remotely close to the truth at all. Bro is still a hero, he’s the number 1 hero might I add, his friends still are in contact with him, his relationship with uraraka is undisclosed so we don’t really know, and overall, Deku didn’t get as bad of a stick as we think, but nope, instead of people actually reading the manga chapter, they just make the same annoying ass joke over and over and over while completely missing the point of the story overall

Deku is the most overhated anime character.
i rewatched every episode of season 1 he cried 17 times
He mostly cried in the first episode
Most episodes he didnt even cry at all
He mostly cried multiple times in the same episode
Plus some of his crying scenes were just little gag scenes
Also he has plenty of good reasons to cry

Nah, for me, Joy was the one who pissed me off in Inside Out. Sadness made perfect sense especially in the context of movie but Joy annoyed the shit out of me. I was happy when she realized all of the emotions are just as important as her though.

Quick rundown of everything Degen got wrong about MHA's ending:
- Midoriya became a teacher cause he wanted to teach the next gen but at the end, he's still a hero cause his homies got him a iron man type suit that's mad busted
- Midoriya and Ochako's relationship wasn't confirmed or denied
- He did miss being an active hero but was still happy to be a teacher
- His homies did not, I repeat, DID NOT ditch him for 8 years. They're adults now so they still tried to hang out despite their busy lives as heroes
I don't think homie Degen read any of that chapter to completion nor do I think he understood what Midoriya being the greatest hero actually meant
Things this comment got wrong.
- Deku didn't become a hero, a kid was surprised he actually existed and he didn't get the suit until the very end of the chapter.
- Midoriya and Ochako are pretty hardcore confirmed to not be a thing since they don't have any contact in the final chapter despite her being in contact with multiple of the other students.
- His homies DID ditch him, he mentions barely having contact with them for 8 YEARS. Teacher's have weekends, holidays, and whole summers off and yet he had barely any contact for 8 years.

- there's literally a scene in the final chapter of Ochako and Midoriya hanging out in the snow and you buggin if you actually think she or anyone in the class would ghost him for so long after all they went through in their first year as high schoolers. Which brings me to my last reason why you're also wrong
- it's outright explained that Class A still keeps in contact with each other but they struggle to meet up as much as they want to but also they were working on the finances to support Hatsume and Melissa Shield in building the Iron Deku suit in secret so it could be a surprise.
Please actually read the chapter from the mangaplus app so you can understand that Degen was wrong, it won't cost you anything

My take/takes. I've never seen Calilou but don't like him.
Daniel man to me he's become more of a 'ussy and he doesn't know when to just talk because when he got his advertisement board messed up to me I would laughed it off and not get mad or petty like he did.
Starlight, to me, is overall an ok character only cause her "powers" are ok, and how she has acted is keeping her from the top 5 for me. Kimiko is a great top 5 for sure but keeps getting dragged by the other supes, which suck cause that means she has reached her peak in fighting and can't do much more against actual heroes. Skyler and Walt, I'm putting both in there cause I can, and my take is both are horrible people. She had many outs she should have taken, getting involved with Ted, who, by the way, assaulted her at a party before that's why she quit. (I don't remember fully so if I'm wrong I'm sorry but he did do something to skyler and that's why she quit in the first place) if she didn't get into an ego war with herself and Walt and didn't sleep with Ted more people would like her and she would be a more likeable and more sympathetic character we would all love.
