- In this video, I took my father and uncles deep sea fishing on Al Gauron Deep Sea Fishing. Afterwards, it showcases 2 different ways the fish we caught was prepared. I hope you enjoy it!

Great video TheFishingFoodster! What reel/rod setup would you recommend. I'm from Texas and plan on taking a road trip with my dad to fish with Al Gauron. Any tips on rod/reel/line/weights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Thomas! Thank you for your comment! My setup is a Penn Squall II LevelWind Combo, I put 50 lb of Braid. I used a 50lb snap swivel to attach the braid to the rig which is a high-low rig with 40 lb mono and 4/0 J-Hooks! Also used 16 oz of lead. Al Gauron has rental rods if you need them. Goodluck!

Yeah! In the video, it's actually a chef at my Uncle's restaurant, but I'm working towards it! I'm working on an at-home Steamed Red Fish video which should be coming out in 3-5 days. My schedule is packed as the deadline for grad school is this week!
