"Borrowed a few book pages and hope no one notices" you just crack me up! Love your ideas and thoughts. Truly fun to watch and learn from. Keep it up!
Oh I love you just what we need in blooming lockdown I watched you all night woke my husband up laughing.
What about a Velcro dot to have a closure or a ribbon closure just a mad idea.
Keep these videos coming please x I’m in the uk x
A couple of other ideas 💡. You can use wood glue with brittle paper, it works very well. Also, I mix a little bit of matte medium with a few drops of vintage photo reinker and brush it over the whole page.
TFS this, I'm new and just disassembling some vintage and antique books I bought, and one has very brittle pages, so I'm looking for ideas on how to get them out and use them.
'smooshing out to the side!'
'lunar landing, take two!'
'cute-y boos'
Had to chuckle though, don't we all have, the scary recesses of the musical memory? 🥰🤣
but these envelopes are perfect!
I appreciate seeing both the sewn and non-sewn version, as I am 'fighting' with my machine these days!! so I've put it on 'pause!' grrrr... 😡🤣
Thanks Pam - love from Denmark 🌸 💕
As long as we have passion in our hearts we will figure out something to do with all this paper! :) Big hugs!
I have Dark Eyed Juncos! They come down from Canada in the winter. Where I live is considered their "south" for the winter, which is DEFINITELY no one else's! When I start seeing them, I know winter is truly here. And when they leave (and the Robins show up), I know it's spring. Cute little birds for sure.
Hi from PA! We have juncos galore in th winter. Lovely lil birdies!
I love hearing this! TFS! :)
Great idea to line the brittle papers. Hot glue does give a strong instant bond, but over time it may dry up and pieces may fall off. I prefer the fabri-fix for paper crafting.
I get glue strings everywhere when i use fabri fix I like Aqua
We have Juncos here in Minnesota. My Mom was a bird watcher, but in her later years would loudly call out "Junco"! When playing Bunco with friends. Still makes me giggle! Thanks for the memory!
Hi Pam, I'm one of your newer subbies. I actually had never heard of junk journaling 3 yrs. ago. Today, I was trying to disassemble a book and it was crumbling paper so, I googled how to handle it and found this old video. Thank you so much for the ideas! Now, to figure out how to get it out of the binding without tearing it all apart. TFS 😊
With the Uhu you have to be a bit more heavy handed and you have to go over the same place twice. I could never get it to work well either, but Gayle makes it stick; she is the one that clued me in on how to make it stick. Love the envelopes. They turn out so beautiful.
Good point, but once the magic is gone from a relationship - sometimes you just have to part friends! 😂
Thank you so much for another great project! I have some of that tangled leaf 🍃 trim. I cut a chunk off of a paper towel roll and untangle it while watching TV and wrapped around the trim untwisting it as I went . Works sooo much better ❤️
I keep the backs of napkins, glue them to delicate papers and this means you can still see both sides, and use them in junk journals 😊
Hi from PA! Love the dangles! The bird was a perfect fit! Have some vintage yellowed newspaper and think this idea is perfect! So glad to see another video. I told my hubby that your my sister from another mother as I am laughing while watching your video. He said why do I say that? I say cuz we think a lot alike. Hahahahahahaha! Hugs!!
We have juncos here in DE in the winter months! My most memorable(& rare) bird sighting here, of all time, was an indigo bunting...the most beautiful blue I'd ever seen!! 💙👀 Thanks Pam for another fun video!! 💖💖💖
For your buttons, glue your beads on then cover with triple thick. They will stay put and be nice and glossy. Thanks for all your great videos!
We have dark eyed juncos here in MN all winter and spring. Pretty gray and white birds small. Very frequently at feeders.
Beauitful envelopes Pam so pretty love your crafting ideas thank you for sharing your talent love from London xx
Hi K D! You make me happy! Thanks kindly! :) Pam :) !!
Slate coloured juncos are one of my favourite birds! We get flocks of them in our yard here in Maine. They are just ADORABLE!
The buttons filled with beads...YES Thanks Pam
I found myself humming the little song you do.🤪😜🤪😜🤪😜. Yeah, that song.
Well, you are most entertaining. I think these large envelopes are great ideas for packaging a gift. Nice job.
Very nice project. Have been painting watercolor poinsettias and holly bobs on pages for gift jj and I have LOTS of VINTAGE paper (in English) at my house to add the wc to. 😊💛 Have a fab day all!
We have juncos in Canada. They come out of hiding in the fall and winter, on the smaller side, and very cute. Love your videos, btw. 🤗
Oh wow!
Just LOVE your Videos!!!My husband listens too from across the room, I can hear him cracking up because your thought processes are so Out Loud!!!
I was so tired... no energy to make anything... I saw this video-and I think I need to make something like that 🥰🥰🥰
Good morning/ afternoon I should say LOL. It is nice to be able to sleep in a bit every once in awhile. These are just beautiful, supper cute, elegant and easy. Will love to create a few of these in the coming days. I was so happy to join your FB group the day before yesterday. I shared a junk journal start that me and my daughter are working on. I absolutely love all the creativity in the group. So much inspiring ideas and a lovely bunch of people.
I keep on hand fine spray sealer found in the craft center. It makes an invisible web on both sides.
Very cool! TFS! :)
What is it called? Great idea!
These are super pretty purses/envelopes, they remind me of little clutch purses. Very cool!
The glue gun that everyone, especially a crafter must have- I bought one, now knowing how clumsy I am, I bought the finger guards, and spare ones just in case - I see all the reasons ways I can use this awesome tool....right! Mine is still in the box and has been since the day I bought it nearly 3 years ago. I have pretty much every make of glue there is, but I always go back to my aqua, takes a bit to grip and dry, but it’s so good, anyway who needs a glue gun? Not me xx stunning envelope Thank you xx😁❤️
Greetings from Mexico. Yellow-eyed Juncos and Rufous-sided Towhees are common in this part of the country. I follow you here and I'm part of your Facebook group. It's great to know that you love birds since I do too. Love everything you do.
A great way to get lots of lace inexpensively is to go to a thrift store which sells clothing really cheap, and look for lacy clothing. I have found shorts, shirts, skirts, and dresses made of lace that can be cut up as desired--into strips or shapes or even die-cut. Love your videos.
The German paper is beautiful 😍 I love all things German. Thanks for another great idea Pam!
You are more than welcome! :)
Many greetings from Germany! 😅
@@jessicawittig4410 well hello there! My grandma was born and raised there. Then she met my grandma who was stationed there. They got married and she came to the states with him when his deployment was over. My dream is to one day visit. 💛💛
@@melissacrawford303 Greetings from Germany, too. I was married to an American who was stationed here. I lived in Colorado for a while. Loved it. Didn't last unfortunately, but we're still in contact. No bad feelings.
You should come to Germany, once this pandemic is over. Many nice places here.
@@blaaaaaaarrrrr We are hoping to make a trip with my parents and our 4 kids when the pandemic is over. Guess I better get to making a couple/few TN's for us to take with us 💛💛
I love watching your videos. They make me happy.😊
I do too. Always fun things to create ❤️
You are so kind! :)
You made my day! You are funny and inspirational, and creative as well!
Fabulous!!
Hi Pam! Mindi here! We have Juncos here in SW Iowa...Had them when I lived in New England too..That's so cool you mentioned the White Mtns.,one of my Fave places besides Maine.
In fact what's funny,,you quite often will show a piece of ephemera that you use which has come from Me,N.H.,VT.? And I ( pardon the pun) Pine away with longing for what you used,or as a neat reminder lol!
Anyhow!! You ALWAYS manage go tickle me with your style and crafts, which I immediately have to make once I start wstching
Just started watching you love seeing what you are doing so much information thanks
What a sweet idea Pam.

This is a fabulous idea and, yes, I have an abundance of pages that I can finally use up! Yes!! You have such ingenius talent! Thank you so much for sharing. Jan
You are an absolute joy to watch!
Love your envelopes! Super pretty! Tyfs!
I live in northwestern Illinois. We have juncos show up as soon as the cold weather shows up to stay. They should be here soon! They stay all winter and enjoy our birdseed. Pretty little birds . . . and pretty little idea you have created for brittle book pages. I’m making some soon!
These are fabuleus! Thank you for sharing! 🥰
Pam your sewing stitches are so straight! I have an old fish thick book lol enjoyed your video
I keep a smile on my face the whole time I'm watching you. Girl you are a hoot..
Love how these turned out!
Hi Carol Decoteau! I really appreciate your input! :)
Those are beautiful envelopes ! Ty, Pam!
Hi A Adele Smith! You make me smile! Thanks kindly! :) Pam :) !!
Great idea Pam! And the word of the day...doodad! 🥰
These are so cool. Thank you so much for sharing.
Really loving those envelopes. I think I will make one to keep die cuts, words, etc. to use as I'm journaling!
Those are great and I love the way you trimmed them. Wow, that bird popped. Thanks Pam!
Thanks Kathryn! Big hugs to you!:)
Oh Pam.......These are so very pretty! I will be making these. Yes I will. Keep'em comin.
You're such a blast Pam!! lol ☺ I love your commentary! And yes....we have tons of Junco's on Vancouver Island. They're cute little birds....and attack my Mom's bird feeders with great gusto! Mount Washington is about 1 1/2 hours drive north of where I live on the Island. ☺ Thanks for your inspiring shares!!
Lovely Pam!! 🤗🐞🥰
Love those dangles, they are beautiful.
Thank you!
Beautiful!!! And that bird you added at the end was just the perfect little addition!! 🤩 TFS another great idea Pam! ♡♡♡ x.o
Birds always help :)
Great idea I have so many very old books that are following apart so this is a nice way to repurpose them.
Beautiful envelopes! So fun! 😍❤
They are fun and addictive to make!
I love German pages, I love I'm Germany and I have found a lot of old books with fragile pages, I mostly use them for collaging and tags, they have such a nice feel and I love use them up.
Wow just remembered watching ur video that I've got old newspaper & magazines in a box that I was given couple of yrs ago n did know what to do with them, great video x
The last one want sewn on the sides, however, it’s up to the maker...love the tutorials you share with us...thank you...😻
Pam .. Beautiful! Can't wait to make for our win a prize group💐❤️
Good Morning!
Love, Love, Love these Beautiful Envelopes Pam! Brilliant Use of Fragile Papers And...Book pages that would make someone's toes curl! !!
I'll share a Yikes/Amusing story...
I have many large book pages but didn't have a lot of smaller ones so I just ordered a bunch.
I like to add book pages upright so folks can read but after glancing the text...Soo relieved I did this Ahead of making something...Oh My!
This huge stack is a Challenge!
I thought, I'll just stencil over...No. I'll stamp over...No. I'll collage over...every word?....No.
None of these ideas and Many others would do for these book pages/ text!
I am going to "Hide" these pages on the Inside of your Fabulous Creation! Boy am I Thankful Pam! You Saved a huge bundle of book pages!! Lol!
Yay!! Happy dance!! Happy this helps:) Those German pages are so glorious! I love them!
@@ThePaperOutpost Many, Many Thanks! Yes, I'm doing a Happy Dance! Thrilled you're enjoying those~Exciting and Always So Thankful to see the Brilliant projects you're Creating! ❤
You're a Paper Master Crafter! 🥰
When I want the added texture of text in the background, but don't want the words themselves to be a distraction, I just turn them upside down. Add in some collaging, stamping etc, and it makes it virtually unreadable, unless someone is trying very very hard!
That's a great idea Pam.
These are super cute! I definitely want to make one, or two, or three...
These are beautiful, Pam! Love me some old, old paper and this is a great way to preserve and enjoy those crumbly old pages. Old sheet music would be pretty too. Thanks for sharing!
Love these!! So beautiful 😍
Glad you like them!
Ohhhh crapperdoodles 😂🤣😂
Totally making that my own for bit 👍🏼 always love to learn. Building that vocab 🤓
We get lots of juncos here in Indiana! They got here about 2 weeks ago and they’re thoroughly enjoying our 4 feeders! We gotta refill them about every 2 days! The titmouse birds got here around the same time, too! They’re so pretty! They look like they’re velvet! I absolutely love our variety of critters here! We also get lots of deer, turkeys, raccoons, and the occasional groundhog.
I love this video! I’ve hated to use my brittle pages, and I don’t want to get rid of them. This is a great idea!!
These are so cute and fabulous idea to use old pages and enjoy it’s beauty 🥰😍❤️😘 thanks for sharing this 😘😘😘
I need to find a big paged old book. Cute idea.
Fun project!!! Thanks
We have dark eyed juncos in Oregon and the towhees are here too. Just saw one yesterday. Love your videos. 💕
Thanks, Pam. Once again, great ideas! I find hot glue to be faster than Fabritac, but the bond for non-porous with hot glue is practically nonexistent.
I believe these envelopes will shrink in size for me. I want them in there beautiful aged Ecru color to tuck into a xmas tree with xmas tags and photos and of course a bit of York peppermint mini's or Andes. Baby buttons are needed lol. Thanks for sharing!
Oooo baby buttons! Great Idea!!! :)
Very cute Pam.
Great idea!
So, the first commercial is a paper cup making machine.... (Things that make you go ‘hmmm’.) Love your videos. Always useful information. Thanks for sharing. Blessings!
Great idea for map pages, also. Thanks, Pam!! :)
Love your idea Ruthann! :)
These are so cute. I’m going to try them. I even have a German book and a French newspaper which is very fragile since it’s from 2001.
Love these going to make some
Great idea!! Love your videos
Glad you like them! You have an awesome channel! I love your spirit and your amazing contributions to our junk journal community! :) Big hugs! :) Pam :)
Oh this is so cute! 😍 I think I'll try and make some! Love this video! And it feels nice to know that I'm not the only one talking too my gluestick. 😉😄
Love Dollar Tree lace!
These are so cute.
Beautiful 😍 TFS🤗
As always fun and great information. Thanks Pam. I use to feed the birds you mentioned in my backyard when I lived in Nanaimo, BC. Don’t see as many where I am now in the lower mainland of BC. 💞🤗🇨🇦💕
Good morning Pam. Chilly here in Wisconsin. There were tornado warnings yesterday. Can you believe it. I really love these envelopes made from book pages. There are so attractive. Makes one want to fill it with goodies like a little Christmas goody. And good morning to Holly and friends and cuddles to Sunshine. Have a nice day. ❤️❤️
Hug and cuddles to you Patricia! :)
Thank you love them
Glad you like them!
Hi 🙋🏻 Pam, hope your day is going great!🥰 That’s pretty! Oh, no, a small oopsie!😂😂😂😂 All cute & you were very fun!! Hugs!❤️😂
This looks like fab fun. You have reminded me I have a newspaper here that came out when elvis passed away. Hmmmmm🧐🧐🤔🤔 TFS
Pam, SO KYOOT!! I have wonderful new (well, new to me - absolutely NOT new) vintage and beyond books with beautiful fragile pages and I also have a need for a pocket or two an TAA DAA - - The Pamster just somehow knows! Love them, love you, from the Southern California desert, MK ♥️🌞🌵. (Gonna have to add a cloud and some wind to my little signature line there, it's gettin' c-c-c-cold! 🌨️🌬️)
Good Morning Pam🙂
So beautiful!
❤️
Good morning dearest Bina!
you just keep me laughing! love your ideas ! thank you!!!
We have juncos here in Michigan. They are adorbs. (That sounds like something my friend, Pam, would say.)
Wow you got through a session without ink or dobber.
Thank you
