      After seeing how sean Strickland does face offs I don't really put much stock into if someone looks more nervous then the other

    Why can’t professionals see this ? The current technology cannot spot fine margin offsides. It’s a sham. I will tell you why and the regulators agree because in 2025 they are introducing a chip in the ball and many more cameras at a game. An offside decision is considered “when the ball is kicked”. There is no definition in the laws about that. Is it when a boot touches a ball or is it when the ball leaves the boot ? A single video angle cannot finely judge “when the ball is kicked”. Yes there is a fine margin about that decision but that affects a fine margin decision about judging a player offside. Big toe and elbow offside decisions currently are bogus.
