- Watch Benji & Nichole compete in the showcase division at the 2107 US Open Swing Dance Championships.
They won the showcase division in 2016 and were back with this performance to defend their title.

WOW. How long is it since Benji was on SYTYCD? I think he's even better now but I can't be sure. His partner is awesome. Just like Heidi & Lacy were.

Two of my very favorite dancers ...yet, I found this entirely disappointing...:-(
It was super impressive! It's hard to please everyone with your art. I'll call it art because the definition of art is this"The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power."
It is certainly artistic, but I think they took it well past calling it swing.
The results will be posted tonight. It will be interesting to see how it turns out!
Creative, imaginative and quite athletic, yes, indeed ... I can and do appreciate those elements ...however, not at the expense of graceful movement and beautiful lines, which for the most part weren't here in this piece - yet, I've come to know and greatly appreciate in their other works (2015 & 2016 US Opens for example) I understand they have pretty much done it all and want to push the boundaries of convention. Art is subjective and while I completely adore both of these tremendous artists, this piece just isn't a favorite for me. Sometimes it is difficult to live up to your own great self ❣

Loved the dancing but did not like the music.
It's a tricky game to always be pushing the envelope. Much respect to Benji & Nichole for doing so!
Impressive athleticism but not a nice partner dance and not swing
Well it definitely too 2 people to accomplish and it was for sure impressive and athletic. Benji has always pushed the boundaries with is dancing and art.
