Yeah- dude should never ref another college match. He held onto stall calls throughout the dual meet, but he throws out 4 in that match on the guy with the only two takedowns of the match. Inexcusable.

It's great seeing RBY be super aggressive as of late. I get it that it's tougher scoring against more game, ranked opponents (not knocking these unranked guys), but It'd be dope to see him keep this pace up through NCAAs.
Everyone has been more aggressive as of late on average. Spencer Lee has changed the expectation for the top meta. Everyone is now expected to try to turn/pin or risk a stall call if you don’t catch and release quickly.

Even Gable Steveson bar arm tilted some guy the other day. The above list made us ooh and wow. Spencer Lee is literally affecting strategies across ALL weight classes. This is an Askren level change in peoples behaviors on the mat. Even Sanderson didn’t have this kind of effect.

Well, it's either you thrive or survive. Manville happens to be in survival mode. I would bet some of those national champs, woulsnt be national champs, however, elite coaching and phenom as partners turned the AA into national champions, imo.

To see the guy win the WTT to getting majored regularly at the NCAA level tells me this wasn't the right program. He comes off as the type of guy that needs action in competition on a regular basis to thrive. PSU couldn't offer that unfortunately.
