    Macher kochuri (Fish stuffed pastry) is a delicious Bengali dish, perfect for special occasions. Here’s a recipe for you to try:
    Ingredients
    #### For the Dough:
    - 2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
    - 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
    - 1/2 teaspoon salt
    - Water (as needed to knead the dough)
    #### For the Filling:
    - 250 grams fish fillets (Rohu or any firm white fish)
    - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
    - 2 green chilies, finely chopped
    - 1 teaspoon ginger paste
    - 1 teaspoon garlic paste
    - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
    - Salt to taste
    - Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
    - Oil for frying
    Instructions
    #### Preparing the Dough:
    1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and oil or ghee. Mix well.
    2. Gradually add water and knead into a soft and smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
    #### Preparing the Filling:
    1. Boil the fish fillets in water until cooked. Drain and let them cool. Remove any bones and skin, then flake the fish.
    2. Heat a little oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
    3. Add the ginger and garlic paste, and sauté for another minute.
