When Lakshmi mam said, " As a woman, the violence is hard to watch", it irked me. Makes such a statement and then speaks about gender bias between men and women. There are people who get affected by violence on screen on different levels(very much or not so much) irrespective of them being a man or a woman. It's about the individual's personality.

23:00 gotta agree with Vetri sir here. Our star heros like Rajini, Vijay and Ajith alwayz fill the space. They just wanna make sure they will occupy the screen the screen 24/7. Can't blame them, bcoz back when im nothing but a Mad follower of Thalapathy i used to watch his films only for him. It took me a film like interstellar to change my perception about cinema and life. Only after that i started watching cinema for directors. Only after that i started realizing what is cinema. Only after that i became fan of directors. Today i've watched the almost entire filmography of Directors like Kubrick, Marty, Tarkovsky, kurosawa, bergman, ray, fellini and some other shitloads of epic directors. As Vetri stated, most of today Rajini and Vijay films are doing almost most of business and nearly 300-400 crores of business depends on them. Can't blame Rajini coz he's been doing films for almost 5 decades. If only Vijay and Ajith manages to do a low budget/content oriented film or like some mini series for Theatre or OTT, it will be like a new era in our Indian cinema.
