It's not a racist song at all it chronicles the different stories and things that happened growing up in Brooklyn new york.... And the people relate not just cause the beat nice or the raw lyrics all three Mcs display, but if you was raised in similar circumstances it hits home..
John Randle I don't think you had to have been there to appreciate this song. Still holds truth to this day everywhere.
l loved this classic story tellin with lyrics like this when hip-hop had its best in it. But yet being that these catz were underground, and to me yet very understood. Chubb rock and Guru l can't believe were on the same song. Those were my favorite artists at the time.
