Unfortunately the Public continues voting for this. We live in a democracy and like it or lump it, the majority rules. For the last 15 years the public have continually said "we want more tory oppression" at every election.
The sad thing is everything that working people seem to want, is EXACTLY what Jeremy Corbyn wanted to do.... More housing (no housing crisis), more balanced tax system making the 1% pay an equal share, Nationalised Rail, Nationalised Energy (no rail strikes, no massive energy bills) Fully funded NHS (No Doctors Strikes).... I could go on...
Corbyn terrified the billionaire establishment so much they launched the largest recorded slander campaign in British history against him. 80% of all stroies written about Corbyn before the election were proven to be "False, misleading, or failed to represent his views and policy".... So the public fell in line and voted for the Billionaire establishments Government Lackies, the Tories. Hence why everyone earning under 250k a year is really feeling the pinch, while the top 1% are just getting richer and richer.

This is the equivalent of putting your company in the red as CEO, getting fired by the board, then coming back after 5 years to run the HR department. Unheard of, incapable fools the lot of them.

Sunak could make it so much easier for himself. Apologies for his arrogance, not having the bottle to stand in another hustings. Admit he knew he wasn’t qualified to lead the country but took a gamble. Got over excited when he viewed the treasury, all that money to Gamble away , he knew he’d be good at that. Get a Sub from daddy in law to put it all back. Stop Squatting in No,10. Apologies for muscling in on the cat. Give himself up to the Tower of London, Dereliction of duty, betrayal to country and people. He could have that done in a heartbeat.
