You don't totally need it. If you can set sensor stably, it's alright.
Actually I bought it. It has magnets, so I can set it on the wall that is magnetic.

Hi! What's the size of the floor that can be done with one sensor? Also, what's the max quantity of sensors connected to TD and thus size of the floor that can be interactive?

If you use UST-10LX, you can detect 10 meters. Radial. If UST-20LX, 20 meters. I'm not sure how many sensors you can connect correctly because I've never done test. But I've seen the case with 3 hokuyo sensors. I hope it would be your help.

動画ご覧いただきありがとうございます。その理由は、検出できない場合は位置が（０，０）になるからです。検出できてるかどうかのフラグで円のアルファを変えてみてください。

Hi, thanks for your comment. Well, almost same thing, but you need to set the origin point. you would subtract or add it from the sensor values. I hope it works well for you!

貴重な情報ありがとうございます。初心者には本当にありがたいです。同じように足についてくるワイヤーは出力できました。応用でマウスやメタボールなどの位置を北陽センサーに置き換えようとすると今一つうまくいきません。マウスなどのTransulateiに値を入れるなど、何かコツがありますか。

SOPの原点を中心にしてインスタンシングをするとよいです。もしくは、キャリブレーションがうまくいってない問題かもしれません

Thanks for asking me. If you mean that you want to delete something with no signal , you should control active switch with connecting Hokuyo. Speaking of this tutorial, you can delete circles by alpha going to 0 in off. The way might be one of many solution.

If you detect two person, you set Max Blobs to 4 in Blob Track CHOP. Because of two legs a person.
