    Video One in our Guten Road test by Australian Home Brewing. This is the very first time we have used the Guten 40L Microbrewery. We are doing a stepped mashing progressively increasing the temperature throughout the mashing stage. 55 degrees for 10 minutes then 62 degrees for 30 minutes and finally 75 degrees for 45 minutes which suits our traditional pilsner recipe. The mash stages are programmable as you can set the wattage level at each stage so it will not overheat the wort.

    how many actual litres of wurt at end of production i assume not 40l right?

      Around 23L - typically you'd need around 32L total water depending on recipe. You lose some to grain absorption and, later, boil-off so it all depends on your grain volume and boil length.
