Portia was the cutest toddler all those seasons ago. Im so glad they showed Dorits struggles to get her son to talk. Speech therapy really does help around that age and now her kids speak so well.
I was watching a rerun where Portia downloaded some game app on the iPad and ended up charging $$$$ on a credit card (she didn't know that all the 'coins' she was using actually cost money). Kyle tells her other daughters who laugh - but Portia thinks that Mauricio is going to be mad at her. Kyle is going on and on about the cost - yet will spend $15,000 on a Birkin
Dorit has 3 nanny's that's why Jagger wasn't talking to her. He didn't know what to call her.

i think kyle is a sorry excuse for a friend, vile, manipulative, gaslighting and cowardly, but she REALLY seems to be a great mom and wife. i love how all her daughters are encouraged to get college degrees and dont seem to be pressured into hollywood body images, when kyle herself was not given the privilege to be encouraged to pursue further education or to be herself, look however she pleased, and not seek the spotlight. i think her and lisa vanderpump really did a GREAT job raising their kids, especially seeing how wealthy and under how much public scrutiny they were when growing up.
I think it's hilarious that we start off with Yolanda's "why have kids if you don't want to raise them" mentality and then ultimately get to Dorit who doesn't work but has three nannies.

The two things Dorit was worried about her children spells inattentive parent. The baby was left on her back for long amounts of time and that’s why she has a helmet. I’ve fostered a baby with the same condition. Secondly you need to start talking to your children from birth. Use it or lose it. Imagine if dorit had to raise her kids herself?
This is common issues honestly. Doesn't always mean inattentive mom or parent. The baby is 4 months. This does happen. Happy shes fixing it early on. Also some kids have actual delays that have nothing to do with mom.
Her getting her son help so early on and then succeeding means she did what she needed to do. It would be easier to say people are perfect parents but honestly these are very common issues.

The best thing you can do if your child seems to be delayed in speech is to take them to speech therapy yourself instead of sending a nanny.
