- One step closer to building my pump gas 400WHP STi! It was a long journey putting this motor together but it was no doubt worth the time and effort. You seem like a really respectful kid that cares and works hard for what you own, the kind of character I’d go out of my way to get to know, I respect that about you and having the Perseverance to get piece by piece to your finished build. Good for you man congrats.
Wow that sure means a lot. Thank you a ton!
This deserves WAY more views. Great job man.
Lopez and Cars thanks dude, means a lot!

Awesome brother
Well done mate, I know how you feel I did all my engine my self after I cracked a cylinder head, after get the engine stroked to 2.1 I then rebuilt it all after never doing anything like it before, still to this day after 3 years theres that little voice in my head thinking did I torque this or that properly lol, nothing more satisfying then doing it your self 👍👍
dave thank you. Oh dang well solid work! Haha I know that feeling. But no kidding, and the amount of learning you get is unreal.
Great video man, just got a subie well be watching more of your videos.
Nice job 👍💪
Great Job
U deserve more subs
Just watched it 3 times. Fantastic. Subscribed. Is that turbo subaru, holset, mitsubitchi or import? Great!
How did you go about learning to do what you do? You're extremely talented! Super entertaining video and really inspiring 👏
Good job done!🔥🔥But I like stock engine bay look better.
instant sub
Nice video! I wanna do something similar after my forester is finished!
Thanks Jake! That’d be awesome!
i remember trying to replace a blown turbo on a mps .it was a mission taking it out. and only took 5mins to put a new one in . . .
Well done
Thank you!
Respect💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
awesome vid! subbed

awesome job
Douraid Isho thank you!
Hey man, I'm 30 and it's awesome to see someone do this at your age. You'll keep this knowledge for the rest of your life and now that you've done this, you'll be able to work on any car. Great job man, hope to see you out there on the road 🤙🤙.
Thank you so much Will.
sick af
Amazing
So funny what are the chances of watching this video and seeing mavericks sweater. I’m from half moon bay 👍🏼 right on bro and great video
No kidding, thats rad! Such a cool place. Thanks for the comment!
Asking for an accidental fire wrapping those headers. Oil goes down, I’ve seen it before when an unexpected oil leak happens..it drops right on those headers and a soaked diaper of oil on metal that’s 1000 degrees is no bueno..
Shared 👍
Great job man! We have a similar builds but mines on a forester. Sadly I’m on a 5 speed still so only 400whp at 19psi
Jeff Long thanks man! Nice, that’s a lot! I bet she rips!
Lol only? I wish I was pushing 400
Was the ic piping painted or powder coated?
Why did it need a build? 300k? What's the situation on cam belt intervals on those? Synthetic s40 oil best for those? Thanks from London, England.
I like stock look
What throttle body did you put on?
that's dope, how long did it take to fully swap motors and get it running? was it pricey?
Roughly 2 and a half months! Yes it was pricey. Mostly because I changed a lot of parts!
Are those only cobb components ?
Awesome job how’d you get the parts and engine to look so nice ?
Thanks! I got the parts from a lot of different companies and distributors! And lots of time cleaning and painting made it look brand new!
Great video and great build!!! How much power did it made on the dyno?
Randy Tejada thanks man!! It put down 406WHP on pump gas
Andrew Randall nice!!!! That’s some good power!!
Whats the maxium power you can recieve from a modified WRX engine? 🤨
hey great job man! so recently I have been looking into building my Subaru its a 2006 wrx ej25 but I'm not sure where to start. I know there is a bunch of information online but I'm just confused on where to start
Juan Alonso honestly just depends on what you see yourself doing with it! There’s lots of ways to go about it but I’d figure out where you want hp wise and go from there!
Hey so I just saw you replied to me lol well thanks for the reply I’ve come a long way I did a rebuild on my 06 and now I also have an 02 that I’m currently doing a rebuild on your video was great and was one of the reasons I set out to learn as much as I could
I fucking love this im getting into cars i own a 2004 subie wrx impreza sti and i want to be an apprentice to learn more but i doubt people are looking for a 16 yrd kid with a dream and no experience
Hey man everyone’s gotta start somewhere! 16 is a great age to start, that’s when I got my first job mopping floors at a shop🤘
Hey what blouch turbo is that .1.5xtr ?
Mike E it’s the 2.5xtr
Is that really a rebuild ?
“I promise officer it’s all stock” 😂
What year is the car
2005!
What intake is that?
Ryan Selman ETS speed density
Can I buy the car from you?
Unequal manifold header?
Christian Joel equal length!
@@DrewRandall where you from?
is… IS THAT A SUPRA
In the UK, they call them scooby. In the US, they call them soobie, which actually makes more sense! FLAT 4 BOXER BABY! put the bmw in the scrap lorry.
Looks nice but idk if I’d consider this a “build”
Zach E just curious, howcome?
@@DrewRandall Because you didn't really "rebuild" anything like your title states. An engine rebuild typically consists of splitting the engine completely apart, down to bare cases, and then reassembling with new components. Technically this is an engine swap with mods.
Why have you got 21 down thumbs? Are they jealous bmw Merc drivers? FLAT 4 ALUMINIUM EATS V8 for breakfast. GET A LIFE. GET A SUBARU.
