i wanted this to be like "yay! 100 subscriber special!" but i got to 102 overnight. thanks everyone for all the support. i hope to put out greater and greater videos with all of this newfound motivation. (i've got a few ready to go, but they have a few minor issues that i feel diminish their quality, so i'll wait until they're fixed.)
i don't have much to say about this one. but! i think i kept this remix's game selection pretty precise. it's got two fake-outs, both of which had issues that i needed to work around, actually totaling to three issues from just the two. i filed an issue on their github for one of them, but the others seem like input bugs that just result from it being in beta.

P.S heaven studio has an issue with storing inputs between game changes, so don't play this using auto-play mode. at the final rhythm soumen game change, it spams so many inputs that it practically deafens you. i had to splice together two clips to make that not happen in the video.

Really love the inclusion of Samurai Slice DS as that’s one of my favorite rhythm games in general and it lends itself to some really cool rhythms here.
I feel like another really good song for rythm heaven would be 'Hidden in the sand' also by tally hall. While being a short song it sounds really nice and I thing it would work well

You and other people who make these remixes must need a really deep knowledge of the game and music in general, cuz they always seem to know which game types suit which part of a song the best. It's really impressive!

i think that's a good idea! i love that remix. making a preset of games to use, or even a randomizer would be pretty interesting. ill try it out.

@@AstrlJelly It feels kinda unfocused, changing games in some places for no reason like at 0:52 (the trio to rally part), and especially at the flibbity jibbity jabber part

hm, id say the timestamp you gave me is definitely something i could've changed. however, i like the rapid changing around the "flibbity" part, cause it fits with the erratic vocals. overall, thanks for the feedback tho!

If you're taking requests, then i'd like to request the Red Baron Bully Battle theme from Snoopy Flying Ace. It's a pretty good air combat game! ...If only you could get it officially anymore. But that's nothing that a hypothetical remaster can't fix!
hmm... looks like a challenge! there aren't any obvious cues throughout the song, but sometimes that can make it sound even better. i'll give it a try.
@@AstrlJelly Maybe make some parts have different cues done in a row, leading to the inputs being done in the same order as the cues? For example, Ringside's "pose for the fans" cue, then another one or two other cues, THEN have the inputs be done in the order of the cues! Sort of like a turn-based rhythm game.

I’m not sure about the inclusion of the noodle minigame? I’ve never seen that game before and I felt like it sadly really killed the flow :(( sorry to say that because I hate being negative and other than that I really loved this video! I feel like it would be a really hard song to choose the correct mini games for and get them on beat! I really like the ping pong rally and Samurai Slice parts

hey, just wondering, what did you set the BPM to on this? cause I've been trying to make my own custom remix of this but I was never able to figure out the exact tempo
the offset is -10 ms, and i started with 83 bpm until beat 40, then 166.1 until beat 240, then 130.5 until beat 304 (but i had to slow it down in-between beat 303 and 304), then 130 until beat 348 (but i had to ALSO slow it down in-between beat 347 and 348), then 166 for the rest of the remix. if you want the details of how i slowed it down, you can download the project file from my github repo.
