Jamie😉😉🥰😄😄😄
Thanks for letting Jamie take a few whacks. You're a good teacher and it proves women can do it too.
Looking good so far. What color do you have in mind for the jeep?
Applying that nursing school training
Watching you two working together makes me so happy. I recently lost my wife of 50 years to cancer and doing things together is everything in a relationship. Tears (of happiness) are in my eyes just watching you.
🙏♥️👽👽 Sending Big Love to you
Very sorry for your loss.
I lost my dad my father-in-law and my best best friend to that rotten disease.
Thankyou so much. I didn’t expect a reply. I just wanted to make sure you appreciate each other because losing your partner is so much more painful than losing parents as also happened to me. Treasure your time together, as you appear to do already.
@@Demonpk-lb4gh I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Watching this channel makes you appreciate relationships. They seem to be a really loving couple.
Lost my hunny 5 mos ago…. He used to watch Ian and Jamie. And recommended them to me…. No when I watch I feel he is watching with me…. I understand your pain
I've had a 1953 M38A1 for 25 years now, its gone from a stock restoration to a full built v8 crawler, who cares if it's modified or cut up, it's yours!! Love it, enjoy it, use it, beat it!!!
That Jeep would look amazing with a clear coat on that old paint
You don't call it Full Customs for nothing ! Great job, can't wait!🇺🇸
Gotta chime in....... I DOhave a 1958 Willys CJ5. Nothing better. No electronics period. Unstoppable. Jamie will be so satisfied.
Agree 👍
You know it's serious when the 10 LB sledge shows up. That hood straightened right up. 😎
My favorite line from this episode.
Ian: it’s going to be violent.
Jamie: I’m excited.
Thanks for the comedy! Love it!
David from the Sonoran desert.
The jeep is coming along. Reminds me of the jeep I had in the army. Jamie will love it. Don't worry about the haters who don't like it. You know you can't please everyone.
Glad you kept the Jeep! Runabout for Jamie.🆒😎🤙!
It's so fun to see Jamie getting busy with the metal work!
Ian, you married up! Jamie is a treasure.
Great body work guys!👍😎
"It's gonna be violent." - "I'm excited." - Now that's a committed relationship.
Right...
Your making her happy. She will be running to town in it soon.
You are moving too fast young man!!! LOL.
Jamie, you are a GEM!
that screen! worth hundreds
Way cool! Please keep the star on the hood when it gets repainted. This jeep is going to be awesome! 👩🦳
I put grill screens on everything! After I got a hole put through my radiator halfway between Seattle and Anchorage. Fixed it with needle nose pliers and a can of snuff!😂😂😂
Love watching you bend metal and toss tools 😁
All that matters is you saved it from the crusher and it will drive again so good job Ian and Jamie you guys rock🎉⚒️🇺🇲👍🙏
RIGHT ON TIME ....................GOOD DAY GUYS...............................BIG SMILES......#BIGBADPAPPAWOLF........PS PLZ KEEP THE OLD PAINT JOB JUST CLEAN UP A LIL BIT AND CLEAR COAT....IT IS SO KOOL AND RETRO ARMY........
You. Guys are so fun, lol I'm learning with you,I think it's a great project 😎🐒
Awesome willys
Jamie is totally adorable ☺️ an it’s fun to watch her learnin the process
Pops always called it a "Dupont overhaul". That's what his father called them back in the 1950-60's. No reason to fix what isn't broken. Looks awesome 👍🏻
LOVE to see you get involved and work on YOUR Jeep Jamie. You will remember every hammer strike as you drive that thing around and enjoy it. It's an extremely satisfying feeling when you get it done and on the road. You will look at that fender as you are driving and remember all you did to get it into shape. (just remember to look at where you are going from time to time!) AND, you have the benefit of being schooled by one of the MASTERS of car building and customization. You'e a lucky woman!!!!!
Have you come up with a name yet?????
How many of us learned to drive in our Dads Willys. Build it as you want, you are going to have fun!
Nice ❤❤❤
Ahhh, the seven slot grille breathes. Looks great!
Jamie is a new student of Ian ❤
Standing on it is how I have started some panel repairs.
Your making it better I love it too nice to scrap
Nice to know Jamie will be safe with all the rebuilding and upgrades. I bet she’ll drive it more than anything if it’s not an A/C only drive. 😊
Lowering the volume when the loud hammer connects is appreciated.🔊🔉🔈 tyvm
The Jeep looks great. Good job.
Nice work Ian and Jamie
I love restoration.
The BEST time lapse build WITH appropriate music, of a Jeep "F-Head" on CZcams - EVER ! ! !
Thanks to Ian, that there motor now is almost as pretty as the owner - that's sayin' somethin.
1962, I was in high school with Bob Bender who's dad owned a body shop. We called his kid brother "Fender". No Lie
Thank you both...
Holy shit, that starter really does work !! 😂. 🎉❤
I think Jamie should get involved with the build application more often !!! She's a good student.
You guys are saving them
I love it! Totally CaveMan body & fender repair!! We don't need no stinking Martin hammers!!
I love 6 Volt Starters on my 12V conversions. Old starters never give up.
Hats off to anyone who saves old sheetmetal from being crushed! There's way too many Hyundais and Kias in this world!
Love your work, Ian [think I've said that before] Cheers from OZ.
That beater is a hardwood, probably hickory, lead beater, Used for stretching and shaping roofing lead work. A real craftsman's tool. Great to see it being used by a craftsman.
Excellent guys my wife named her jeep peej 😊
I see NEW TOYS on top of the Dr Pepper machine😍.
Rat Fink Fun!!
Awesome job jamie nice job on engine jeep is looking good
What a team jeep coming right along
These Jeeps are so reliable! I guess Ian does it well!
Way to swing that hammer great teaching unlike some other channels I always listen through
Im so happy you both saved that cool little jeep.its going to be a fun ride...i like 4 cyd.motors...jamie always ask good questions....keep on trucken....scotty when are you going to beam me up?????this planet needs to calm down😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Another awesome video. Ian is at his best and comical as ever. I was cracking up. Hi Jamie, Another ride for you soon. Many years ago, I have driven a McArthur and Willys jeeps and love them then and now. Take care and thank you for all the videos. Keep them coming.
Nice to see Jamie doing some panel beating or should l say panel finessing , meanwhile Ian goes Hammer and tongs with a sledge Hammer 😮..... 😅😅.... Greatvteam work guys . Engines looking great all painted up and ready for install 👍
No Thank you both l get a lot knowledge from you and your is quick to learn from you and her vidio and and editing skills, to the choices in background music is im my opinion is very entertaining. Keep doing what y'all are doing.
This man knows how to beat metal.
Good job, Jammie like to see women wanting to learn their man's skill y'all make a great team. Your Utube ,and Bad Chad are my favorites.
Thank you!
The crusher, you two keep it real. Funny!!
I know this is the Jeep episode but that Zephyr is going to be so Kool love what your doing with it your saving history one wreck at a time
Way to go girl. You have a good teacher.
Looks good. Jamie is learning old school body work, and so am I. Waiting for next episode.
Look at Jamie show that fender who’s the boss. Good job. 😊 ❤🐈⬛🐕🐈🐕🐕❤️
Having a Jeep where y'all are located would be perfect to enjoy driving around or just having around your ranch/shop.👍🏽
Watching Ian employ the sledge, My Ret. Navy brother showed me how sailors remove dents from our steel warships. Yes, they utilize sledgehammers and torches with great affect smoothing 1/2 inch plus steel walls. I enjoyed your use of multiple hammers and dollies to meet differing challenges.
Love the way Jamie gets her hands dirty. You go girl.👍😎🇦🇺
The hood tip does come out a bit farther than the grill. Talking about the grill, that reveal was awesome!!! I'm glad Jamie wanted that awful grill out! Covering the "7 slots" is a cardinal sin!!! Great job!!!
Look how cute that is!
I also love the old jeeps
Dents, scratches and patina just add character
Watching you work on that fender makes me want to go find a dented fender and work on it. I have most of the hammers and Dollie’s that I’ve had for 20 - 30 years. Just have to learn to use them better than I did long ago. Thanks
It's definitely cool to learn something new.
I've said it before... I'll say it again... YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!
I want to thank you both for, I went through a heart transplant 3/15/18 and watching your videos while doing my cardio I feel like watching episode after episode before I realize I walk 5 plus miles with ease . W right know I torn between my favorite episode, the happiness you bring your wife and having her hands on the Willy’s project, and the zephyr that is going to be an instant classic ( I feel your going to get an offer you can’t refuse from the master finisher Victor let’s not forget the the jewel of the desert, I hope that the zephyr gets a victor inspired interior to really set it apart
A mate clear over the patina would look amazing 🤩 I love how Jamie gets in there and is so excited🤙
It's Jamie's Jeep you do as you want I love it that you are putting it back on the road
love the fact you did it with hand tools, and not body shop hand tools, except the body hammer
It is sooooo nice to see Jamie out there wackin' it flat!!!! 💖👽 Cute's a bug she is 😉 and the hammer in her hand makes her even more cute! And just look at that gleam on her face she hears the tink. You GO Jamie HAMMER TIME!
Every day is a school day... Gene would be proud!
I remember that. Glad you’re doing your own thing. So much better this way guys Thankyou. Keep it up.
Great video as always.
My dad was a body man for 43 years.that’s old skool metal working you did.
Yes sheet metal does have a memory in it.just a matter of working down those high spots that create pressure and move the tension back to where it belongs.
Please keep the videos coming
Very satisfying working with metal another great episode
Great video Ian and Jamie.
Great job sweetheart awesome. Lovely to see you sharing Ian’s passion and
Great job on the camera to Ian.
Way to go Jamie! Good job hammering on that fender!
That grille is so much better without the mesh 👍
best part is your doing this project together! great teacher and student!
Looking very good. I'm glad you saved it from salvage. Once again good jop
Thanks 👍
Jamie is getting her metalforming going on. Cool. I can't wait to see this going.
Slide a buffer over it, surface rust, dents, dings and all 👌👌
Thanks!🐨
Thank you so much!!
Ian the fender masseuse/chiropractor. Nice work saving this classic.
the best never rest 😊
So fun to watch! Amazing talent😮
That’s when vehicles were made of real steel. Impressive Jamie. Ian I think you have someone to do the bodywork while you fabricate.👍
Awesome job to you both on getting the fender straightened 🏆👍 I agree with Jamie the grill looks so much better without the screen.
That ah ha moment was great, now you know and knowing is half the battle great job
Suggestion: widen front window like you did for Bills grandkid, keeping “Willys”.
FUBAR= Fixed Up By A Restoration
I think I'm just as excited as Jamie is to see this ole goat doing what it's was made for, great job as always! ❤
First off, I love seein y’all bringing this ol Veteran back to life with a new vision, second, I vote for takin the Jeep to the next event of the Jeeps
VERY Satisfying... lookin' good. I had a 1975 CJ5, loved it...
