I LOVE the personal non linear aspect of this movie, based on memory (ie. her journal and her emotional detachment from her surroundings: because of it!). This is way, way better than Tarantino's same use in the non linear story telling genre with all his love of violence and atypical gore, etc. This movie really makes you think that, "This could really be you. (Given the memories you hold onto too closely.)"
