I worked for n electronics company. N I worked w parts that were small too w. Tweezers & we worked out of microscopes putting the parts together.
So it amazes me this person wasn’t using a magnified glass or microscope putting such tiny pieces together - incredible!

This jewellery piece is called *"MANGALSUTRA"* which means *Auspicious thread* its worn by almost every married hindu/jain women... just like ring ceremony in west..in Hindu marriage customs after completing all rituals husband ties this jewellery in bride's neck. After that she wears in everyday life as a symbol of goodwill, health and love......

We always crib for high making charges, high making charges, bt actually so much goes into jewellery making.... Lotta hard work n patience 😰, hats off to goldsmith
I just wanted to point out the fact that this is truly handmade from scratch. No CAD or casting was used to assist in the design and craftsmanship. We call this “fabrication” in the US as the jeweler is fabricating jewelry from raw materials.

When I spend eight hours making a wax ring and casting it. Removing the plaster after casting destroys the mold. It’s a one of a kind ring. Why the shade at casting?
This piece was excellently created by a team of people. Where as I’m one person creating my work from beginning to end.
I also do some fabrication work, it’s a lot quicker generally and pays better than making original wax designs and casting it. 🙃
Even factory made jewelry that involves casting takes great skill and knowledge.
