This video has helped us immensely. South Africa doesnt implement AAC but my daughter is learning your AAC method. Even schools are asking me to show them how. Thanks to you this video is helping many children here ❤️
Also for anyone searching for the symbols, Boardmaker is a great tool and has the free trial.

Thank you for sharing your communication boards. Where did you get the universal signs?

Can you demonstrate how you make items? Also where did you get those color cards or how did you make it?

I printed them in a white A4 paper. I cut them and glued them into colour papers, also size A4. Then I used the laminator. Laminator has been my best friend in the first 2 years of the non verbal experience. I got a very cheap one (£10) and I still have it.
If the child has good hand control, instead of A4, you could make them smaller size. And it’s more handy to take it in their backpacks. Once they have eye gaze sometimes it’s also smaller (half of A4 size) because it’s just used in emergencies, and you can help him with hand control. The most important is to have it handy. And if it’s a huge book, it’s hard to carry around.
Boardmaker Studio has a free 30 days trial. You can edit, use your own photos, change words, that way you can add a symbol from the program and write it in a different language.
I’ll try to make a new video during the week. Thanks for your messages!

@@Gabineta77 I dont know how to do this. It would be helpful if you could do a youtube videos and show us how you made them. This is so amazing and many families dont know how to do. I love the color coordination.
