Hey! Thank you for this video. I was natural for 8 years and then last year I decided to relax my hair...Well 14 months later I'm thinking about going back natural. I miss my curls and I miss my easy wash and go! I knew what worked for my hair and it was less maintenance to me. Life is too short to worry about hair issues while learning how to age gracefully too. So this month might be my last relaxer. Thank you for bringing this subject up! Your hair is beautiful by the way ❤

I’m 66 yrs young, I went natural about 25 yrs ago after I had a hysterectomy, I did the big chop, I prefer to wear my hair in a TWA & I love it, I can truly say I will never go back to a prem 🤩🤩👍🏾

I am glad I learned from you about porosity, that's so important when it comes to hair care. I am that person who does the wigs and updos. Doing my hair takes a lot, even to this day. Figuring out which products that work best for my hair has been super tricking. My hair is like yours in that it does not like a lot of products at one time. Thanks for the video. You are so right, find the products that work for you. My hair is thin and most of the time I’m in a protective crochet hairstyle because I like thick and full looks, however I’m noticing that with certain styles, that maybe too heavy, i have a lot of shedding. So now I have to be careful when choosing protective styles. It can be challenging, especially if you want to wear the popular styles that you see others wear but it’s just not healthy for thin hair.
Anyway this video was informative and I’ve been following your channel awhile and love your natural hair journey. Your hair looks amazing and I can tell that you’re enjoying your hair journey ❤

I really want to go natural, I have tried a couple times. The longest I went was 4 months and then I went back to a relaxer. I think having the support helps through the process. I think I let others convince me to relax again. Ty for talking about this, very useful. I may try going natural again💜

I went natural right before the pandemic so about 4 years. My hair is difficult because I'm mostly grey😢 lol grey hair is very difficult to comb. I break combs. 😅😅😅
