As a R15 V3.0 user, I would like to clarify that clip-on handlebars don't cause back pain or wrist pain.
The correct riding posture requires you to grip the tank shroud with your inner thighs and this frees your wrists to gently hold the handlebar.
In case you are stuck in start-stop traffic where you need to hold the clutch, your entire bodyweight ends up on the clip-on handlebar and this causes wrist pain.
Else, no issues of discomfort
I also have r15v3 and i totally agree with your opinion.
I agree to turning radius part. In my Gixxer SF 250, it becomes pain sometimes to take a U-turn, where 5-6 other bikes are on your left and right with very little room for your bike.
But, cornering is like butter.
