Paul, you have so many good grounded people on your show.
I was always fascinated with space and the potential for humans to explore the inconceivable size of the universe. We are certainly spoiled with the JWST and the Hubble telecopes just to name a few.
I thought that Elon Musk would be the person that would unify people towards a common goal like the moon landing did. I was such a big fan of him that I switch my internet provider to Starlink. I now question my decision and am totally disillusioned by his non supportive Ukrainian comments. His recent comments and actions are not of a people oriented compassionate leader but an indication of a self centered person who only cares about profit and power.
A big thank you to Scott Kelly for using his platform to help the Ukranians.

As a big fan of Scott's excellent book Endurance I had already high expectations for this and I was really excited to listen. It might sound a bit off topic but I wonder why Elon is messing around with Ukraine instead of having his focus on current developments in Space, where there is a problem with a defect Sojus docked to the space station. I wrote a sci-fi-thriller screenplay about a similar situation and it seems oddly overlooked in the news what that could potentially mean. I think this original "Space-Elon-Musk" would have come up with ideas how to add security and more options for the astronauts up there. But he seems on another plane for some time. We'll see. The management of the Russian company Roscosmos quickly found an excuse for the problem with their Unions. They said that their Unions were attacked in space by small particles of space debris. 😂

It's amazing how Elon Musk became such a disappointment. Keep up the good work, Paul!
Hi Paul! I was listening to Ukrainian military guy in Bahmut and he explained that as of yesterday Feb 25 they continue to experience delays with Starlink that exacerbated since a week ago. He was saying that each time it takes around 20-40 min sometimes up to an hour before the Starlink is up and running.
Elon Musk has been such a big disappointment to say the least.
I think that ukrainian programmers should write a code that can greatly slow down the work of all Starlink outside of Ukraine. That would be a good answer for Musk.
