Cool, red raspberries make the best jam. Black raspberries are awesome, I haven't tried the yellow ones yet. I grow a lot of brambles including wineberries and thimbleberries

Nifty, but it looks like it would be a hassle to harvest ripe berries.
It's not, the ripe berries are at the top of the canes in this variety. The cage is there to stop the canes from flopping over.
