i really like this gpu only issue is this gpu should be 100 Dollars cheaper.
Fr at $700 this gpu would've been a 1080ti level legendary card
@@elderman64 Actually if you chuck the 1070 Ti @ $399 into an inflation calculator from Q4 2017 you get about $510, so yea the 4070 Super TI is probably around $190 over priced, although I suspect the reported US inflation rate is among the least accurate data among developed countries for a few suspicious reasons.
@@Battleneter Yes but I'm also talking about it in terms of performance, currently a 70 series card is enough to play pretty much every game in 1440p and a lot of games at 4k at around max settings. Something a gtx 1080ti was needed for back then just for current gen games. Also yea lol the inflation calculators are quite inaccurate sometimes when you try and verify it with real world examples xD but idk how much so in this case

Hello, Krizzyp! Would you mind experimenting on quadrupling the frames (for desperate people with 3050s like me or for fun)? It's possible to turn 30 into 120 - first, we activate FSR frame generation ingame and lock it at 60, then we switch on Lossless Scaling program which works with any game. Although it doesn't support motion vectors, the developers updated it on May 9th and the quality has significantly improved. I've already tried running The Witcher 3 with ray tracing (modded from Nexus) and Cyberpunk 2077 path traced and actually got over 100 frames on a 3050. Ultra good with gamepad.

@@elderman64 Yes a brand called Maxsun makes them and you can also find Yeston who makes them as well. They have a premium to them, I guess cause of the Art and stuff. But they look really nice (if you're into that). Mine runs around 65c in games.
Which is 10c lower than my EVGA RTX 2080 super that I replaced.

The reason the 3090 or 4090 receives a much higher uplift at normal at 16k is that they have much faster memory. Simply put the memory band with of this gpu is not fast enough for 16k

11:52 me playing 144 fps locked in 60hz in older games can definitely feel the difference..
If you want to show the people who don't believe you about 16k because it's the 2/1 scaling, maybe run 1080p at 2/1 then show 4k performance and it'll match (within the margin of error obviously).

It keeps occilating from 60-160 fps
DLDSR is God! I use my 1080p monitor with maximum dldsr (1620p) all the time, even at the desktop. You can combo it with DLSS too, because input res is high enough.
But I want a 1440p OLED monitor so bad... :D
online section is really cpu bound,it would drop to 90's in some areas on my i7 13700k+4080 on 1440p mssa 4x advanced option off!
Does that i7 work well I heard intel had performance issues I am deciding to buy 14700k for editing purposes
@@arduinocoder247 yea its solid,no issues so far,i set a -0.050 offset undervolt and its stable as it should be,i paired it with a deepcool ak620,90 degress on full load,60 65 averege on gaming.

You should update RTSS, you have an older version, latest is 7.3.7 beta2
I guess at these higher resolutions the GPU is bandwidth limited
Therefore graphics settings don't do much
It was insane that Cataclysm Computers advise people to use Ryzen 7 7800X3D on RTX 4070 TI SUPER for the 4K resolution games.

Serious request thinking on getting a vr headset but really need to know how well it will perform with the rx 6800.
What games are you going to play. I have heard that Nvidia is better with vr than amd equivalent, but I believe a 6800 should be able to provide a solid experience in most vr games. It has a good amount of vram. That is very important when it comes to vr gaming. Overall, it should provide you with a pretty smooth experience in most vr games. I know you wanted Kryzzp to answer this, but I just wanted to help you while you wait or just in case you don't get a response.
@@cheetos3269 Mostly pavlov honestly but I want to get half life alyx and a few others as well, upgrading is not an option for a loong time.
I haven't tested AMD GPUs in VR yet, but a lot of people were telling me they do much worse than Nvidia for some reason... I'll need to check in a future video! In theory, the 6800 should run it well..
@mrhappy8966 Those games should work. Half-Life is one of the most optimized games when it comes to vr gaming. Pavlov isn't overly intensive since it is a first-person shooter, and it needs to be optimized.

It's 4 times more intensive. Twice the amount of pixels horizontally and 2x vertically. 2x2=4.

textures cant even load properly FPS looks good but once it hits that vram limit everything is going to look like shit. this is a trend with nvidia cards.
