  • The 2021 #Mustang #Mach1 is HERE! Our first customer car rolled in with a Steeda Resonator Delete H-Pipe waiting to be installed! In this video, we record the exhaust tone with a decibel meter on the stock Mach 1 #Exhaust and then with the Steeda H-Pipe installed. As you can hear in the video, there's no going back once this H-Pipe is on the car! You get that deep, muscle car tone and some weight savings as well!

I've owned 4 mustangs now in my life time (I'm 43) 2005, 2011, 2017 and now a 2023 Mach 1 and I can confirm, this is the best sounding stock mustang exhaust ever, besides the GT350 and GT500. I won't even touch anything on the Mach, it's perfect the way it is. Track mode the exhaust screams and I find my self putting it in quiet when I am around cops lol.

Sounds great unless the owner lived next door to me and left at 7:00 every morning in track mode. Then we would be having a conversation.

In my old age I find a lot of things today just stupid. Modifying your exhaust just to get it louder is one of those things. Also makes you an asshole.

How to ruin a perfectly good factory exhaust system.

To each their own! Some people crave more sound than the factory exhaust can provide, and that's where a resonator delete is the perfect mod while retaining the rest of the system & active features. -Chris

Didn't ruin anything, just added a little bit of volume. The exhaust note is the exact same as stock, just a little louder. These newer cars are too quiet from inside the cabin with all the insulation, so getting rid of the resonator (or suitcase as some call it) is a plus.

Too quiet. That’s the point of taking the resonator out, to get more sound.

I agree. The cool thing about Mustangs is that they can be tricked out many different ways with tons of aftermarket stuff on the street. I would have chose to leave it stock and beefed up the suspension with Steeda products 💪🏼

Factory exhaust is too quiet from inside the car with the window rolled up with all the insulation on newer cars. The resonator delete H pipe just adds a little volume with the same factory exhaust note.
