What is your favorite coffee fragrance?? I'm looking for some bangers!
My go to niche would be By Kilian Black Phantom while Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Signature is my go to designer.
@@xxraverxxonxtacy I heavily agree with Black Phantom, but I’m still hunting for a super realistic strong, sweet, coffee. I actually don’t have Uomo, I’m gonna check it out.
I don't get "sour", at least not yet. I get bitter in the sense that coffee is bitter -- I like that. True it doesn't project much, and I'll also let some maceration happen before judging longevity. I like it a lot.
Go-to coffee for me is Kerosene's Follow, but that is not sweet, so maybe not at all what you're looking for.
By reputation Followed (i.e., not Follow) is ultimate beast mode, like fills a room and stays on clothes through multiple washings. I haven't tried that one, a little scared!
@@wagstaff6135 I guess I wish the opening stayed longer ya know, it’s so good. I’m gonna let it macerate and revisit it in a month or so. Also I haven’t tried “follow,” but isn’t “followed” supposed to be a pancake/syrup smell? (Thanks for the comment also 🙌🏻)

Yeah Followed has a lot more sweetness, according to the notes listed; as I said, I've been afraid of it. But Coffee is the base.... webpage lists coffee, caramel, vanilla, cocoa and amber.
Great review Ryan. Only had a sample of this one and I have to agree with your assessment 100%. In fact, I layered it with Centauri's Elixir most of the time because I felt they went well together. 😄 It was like...THE best smelling alcoholic maple cookie dessert ever. 😂 But yeah, unfortunately Elixir outlasted it by...12...hours. 😐
I actually haven’t smelled any Centauri yet, what’s your favorite by the house?
@@TheFragranceChannel I actually had Pete make me a bespoke called "Radagast" heavy on tobacco absolute and sludgy herbs, but after that, it's probably Shambho. Only have a sample, but it's a wonderful oud.

I would disagree. By no means would I recommend for someone looking for a light fragrance. I think you need to let your bottle macerate. This scent is strong and is not a skin scent. I don’t like gormands but this one is cool. Imaginary Authors is so dope.
My answer: Ahh don’t get me wrong I like Imaginary Authors. My bottle definitely is having performance issues, and is indeed a skin scent. Hopefully the maceration process will indeed help. Out of my 7 Imaginary Authors I don’t believe any of them could be considered beast mode. That being said the potency issue doesn’t change my opinion of the very bitter,almost acrid black coffee note.

The potency concerns you've expressed don't diminish the distinct, albeit intense, black coffee note, which remains a discernible and prominent element within the fragrance.
@@TheFragranceChannel yep! So far I have found a few that are very strong. In Love With Everything is quite nuclear on me.
I definitely didn’t think you were commenting negatively about the brand. I’m aware that everyone’s skin is different, which is why I commented that I would not state Blend or any other is a skin scent. It’s quite strong on me and others I’ve been around. Could either be the maceration or your skin for sure. I definitely find many IA to be quite strong. Also depends on how you spray.
Blend is def a bit bitter, which I actually enjoy. Not really a gourmand fan. But so far IA has been putting out excellent work.
@@Betmas2 Soo since the video I sprayed blend 83 this morning and it definitely was more powerful than my initial tests. I’m a huge fan of Telegrama, Whiff a waffle cone, A City On Fire.
