@@M011y. a t-shirt even when cropped is supposed to cover your upper body so by it being so tiny that even when she raises her arms it's exposes her in a school setting, it's not really functioning as an appropriate shirt rather than a piece of material over her chest. Yh it's fashion but from someone who was just like Katie at school I've learnt there's a time and place to wear things like that and school isn't really one of them.

She's at just the right age to start pushing boundaries. It's normal. It up to her parents and other important adults in her life to tell her what is okay and what's not. I have 3 kids older than her, and one close in age...I've seen it all lol
I hope she doesnât act like that at school. I graduated high school with a bunch of people that were conceited and a majority of the class did not like them. Itâs not a good personality trait. Not to mention, she did act like this when she started cheer as a freshman last school year too.

Ally Baker I went to catholic school where the nuns measured our skirts every morning and we werenât allowed colored hair or makeup so đ€·đŒââïžits a bit crazy to me. Itâs fine though the discipline paid off and Iâm now a doctor. To each his own but my daughter wouldnât be headed to school like that

I don't think it's the shirt that's problem, but that she's wearing it school.
A few statements about graphing calculators that I have found. 1) While the Casio one may be cheaper, the Texas Instruments calculator is probably what the teacher will use and explain the class to use. It is easier to follow along if you have the same calculator because buttons will be in all the right places and you know all the correct and necessary functions are there. My teachers in high school even had a projectable Texas Instruments calculator so we could follow along to what they were doing on the screen. 2) While they are a big investment, your kids should have the Texas Instrument calculator for the rest of their life! I got mine in 7th grade (2012) and I still use the same calculator today as a junior in college!

No matter what you do for work outside maintain consistency and create variety in your training. Mixing it up, walking, jogging, sprints and hills. I do all that, swim few days a week and try to cycle when I can. I lift weights every other day help much. Katie always be self aware of your clothing and presence always putting your best foot forward. Never leave anything to be said about you. Good luck.

Katie should realize that rules are made for a reason and her parents should be teaching her to respect those rules. Itâs ridiculous that her mother knowingly allowed her to show such disrespect by breaking the school dress code. Not to mention that she is lucky she is in a school district where she doesnât have to wear uniforms. The school district where I live has a strict uniform dress code and it sucks. They had to make students wear uniforms because too many cocky kids wouldnât follow the dress code. So to enforce a dress code on the kids who feel they are above the rules, now everyone has to wear uniforms. She better appreciate the fact that she can still choose to wear nice cute clothes to school and not push things by going against the rules,otherwise her district may move to requiring ALL students to wear uniforms.

@@iamaswift234 I don't think it's ridiculous to require a student to have thier midriff clothed. They are not thier for anything other then to learn. When these kids get out of school and have to a really work in the real world, they will not be allowed to just wear anything they like in any way. What legitimate profession do you know of that would allow a midriff to be exposed? There is nothing wrong with teaching kids to respect rules. The world is filled with way too many people who think they are above the rules or the rules don't apply to them because they are special somehow. When the school districts begins cracking down harder and enforcing school uniforms, then all these same kids will complain. Why not just appreciate the fact they can still wear thier choice of clothes to school and follow the rules?

Loveyalise school dress codes r usually sexist and make little sense! For instance, guys at my schools wear tank tops with huge arm circled that reveal their entire chest, but girls who wear crop tops or just show shoulder r given detention!! My new school district has a uniform, but everyone still bends the rules

Thanks for asking about what kind of excersizes do we do, I do palaties (Strength & Core) yoga is really good for stamina & balance, right now i love yoga & maybe you can try it to. I like to walk or run on the treadmill, push-ups, sit-ups, planks,wall sit, crunches & squats are really good. I recommend if you like that

Jill I love your story time! I do the same thing with working out. I stick with it for about 6 weeks then I slack off some and then get back into etc etc. We are busy people!
I go to the local gym by the high school and I run a mile on the tread mill, some weight training and strengthening, I also sometimes take a barre class from Jen or her Zumba class, both of which is very fun
Started running this summer, but having a hard time staying consistent. I love it though and feel so much better doing it! Starting up again this week!:)

i do boxing classes!!! great cardio bc in between boxing circuits you're either jump roping, running laterals, or steps
i normally work out and run every day. I also play lots of sports. but im suffering with a bruised bone in my knee so its hard not doing any of that right now.
I started going to the gym at the end of August. I ride recumbent bike then have a routine I do with weights and body weight. I LOVE it! I missed a week and went on Monday and Tuesday HURT!!! But soooooooooooooo worth it!!!!
I do cycling because I'm training for a 80km cycle ride in Chile this November this will be a challenge for me as I have epilipsey. I also do rugby and go to a sports college

At my school they would have given her a giant (!) school sweatshirt/pants to wear for the day, a call to the parents and detention. Our dress code is ridiculous for TX where itâs currently 95-100 degreesđ„. Shorts must be fingertip length, no holes in jeans, T-shirts must long enough to cover if wearing leggings.đ

I run 3 time a week, a walk a lot at my job everyday (by a lot a mean 10-13km, 10-20 stairs) and love going on little hike/walk in the forest with my friend on the week-end.
So I use an app called "fit on" (you can use it on your laptop as well). You answer questions about yourself and preferences and it customizes a workout schedule each week. I love it because there is so much variety and each coach is so unique. I have been loving it! You can also pick your own workout routine if you want to work on a specific area of your body. :)

If she puts both of her arms up at the same time that piece of cloth she wearing as a shirt will expose ALL of her chest. That cloth is not school appropriate. I donât see how any parent could let their child walk out of the house for school like that in that shirt or skirt (skort/shorts). She is barely clothed. Seems like she just does what she wants even if itâs âagainstâ your âbetter judgmentâ đ€Šââïž Be her parent and not her friend. I donât think her dad would have allowed that.

Hey Jill, I play soccer so what I do for working out is a lot of running and then work out my legs almost every before school at the school gym
