absolutely, I have a binary 900 from HK and the fuselage and the wings came apart when I tried a pretty strong throw with it. Still, those mini dlgs are good for slope soaring and sometimes a bit of thermal soaring.
Go to modelbouwforum.nl and request plans for the MiMi. All balsa 1m DLG much used in mini competition over here (Netherlands). Built correctly it will take HUGE stresses, average height throwing around 45 meter. It takes full-on swings (I normally fly Twister fullsize) like it's nothing. Flown delicately without ballast thermals perfectly, flies well on slope with coins/lead under wing connection screw.

so cool i dont complete, dont even know if ppl do compete around me in australia but i've just put a deposit down for a snipe! just killed my 3 week old stobel v3...
would you say snipe is as good as stobel? better perhaps? much newer.

I have a new discus Glieder because i throw the old one to hard the Wings just breaks a second after the throw xD
How is average altitude of launch? Have glider had altimeter?
