In Melbourne in Australia, there's a student centre for uni students to hang out and study that plays music like this. I wish my city had something like that as well!
What's funny is I can think of a Boba shop not too far from where I live that looks similar- complete with plushies in the window. I'm thinking of telling them the idea for background music.
I once ate at a ramen shop and it was playing lofi. I felt like I was living in one of the background photos! One of the highlights of my life tbh... lol
These types of shops exist in LA ☺️ I used to go to different types of boba shops or coffee shops to study during my time in grad school and undergrad 😊💗

During my trip to HCM City in Vietnam, I encountered numerous shops like this. Despite the chaotic traffic outside, the alleys housed serene, inviting coffee shops and restaurants with beautiful designs. The stark contrast between the bustling streets, filled with honking and hurried travelers, and the tranquil atmosphere inside was remarkable.

This is what the real chill lofi mix is like. Whenever i searched for chill lofi mixes for studying, there were always those tracks that have annoyingly loud and repeatitive beats the distracts me from studying most of the time. I can still hear the beats in some of the songs here but they're not loud and distracting. Thanks for making this playlist.
