I've tried souls like games so many times over the years never got into one until this game and I've tried this boss fight over 30 times i tried YOUR method and i beat it 1st try perfect blocking is WAY EASIER than i thought. this is my 1st big boss fight I've ever won. I'm shaking lmao. you got a new sub

@@holdencampos3949 i think the word you're thinking of is "lies" not "cap" also definitely not hmu on any social media I'll show you the achievement. You just gotta be good at timing clearly i am because that fight was CRAZY. I have 0 reason to lie. What would i gain from that?
@@holdencampos3949 it also depends on what weapon you're using (i suggest the heavy one from the start you get alot more defense with it.

I had the skinny blade and was getting my butt handed to me. I purchased the big sword and now EVERYTHING is easier

the key to the first half of the boss fight for me is sprint around him right after he dash attacks. that hammer swing in the second half took me by surprise though

As someone who have just got into a souls game (and having my b*tt kicked at this very first boss) I'd say that this is a very helpful video as it shows the importance of timed blocking and without the need of sword fancy upgrades or objects thrown.
If your using the great sword use L1 triangle will perfect guard ever time costs one fable thus he will be then left open
I destroyed him from the second phase using throwing cells from the merchant fairy easily. Only took three of them and then a hit or two
Blocking the attacks breaks their weapons and this is valid for all enemies you encounter in the game from what I've seen so far.
Good video ! Souls veteran myself here. I have beat Elden Ring , DS 3,1 Bloodborne and Demon Souls . I was really struggling with this boss . I think it’s because I was so focused on dodging . Blocking the attacks is the game changer , instead of timing the dodge gotta time the blocks . Good looking out buddy
It's 100% because we're use to rolling on the perfect moment instead of guarding (parrys) lol. I was having issues too and found luck when I didn't have the lock on so I could roll haha but I'm about to hop on dsr to perfect my parry again 😂
luckily I played Sekiro too, it helped a lot. . I beat this boss 1st try. Game is so far on the easier side if compared to Sekiro
Buy three electric throwables and embue your weapon with electricity. Makes 1st phase done instantly. Use evade and blocks in the second phase, punch and wack a way. Defeated mechanical clown boss. Work smarter not harder.

Oh, so that's why I sucked at this boss. I never played Sekiro or Bloodborne so I'm a bit lacking when it comes to guarding and parrying. I pretty much tried to dodge my way to victory like in Dark Souls and got hit a million times by everything.
Same but I've played all of them. I usually just dodge and rarely block.
Even after watching this I'm still stuck
@@novaleereid2604 I beat it, just focus on perfect blocks more than dodging, if you do dodge, dodge backwards rather than to the side.
@@deputydang8291 I'm not entirely good at perfect blocks though but I'll give it a go thank you. Honestly just want to get past this bit quickly
@@novaleereid2604 currently at the mid-end game and my perfect blocks are crazy, and I prob beat this boss 1st try currently, but when I first fought him it took 20 minutes, and I sucked at perfect guard, I recommend training with the punching machine outside the boss arena, and learn when to guard, since you have 5 frames to hit the guard button for the perfect guard, also hold down the guard button too so it registers the block.
I have beaten every souls game, but this was my first one one i am playing on pc and I was getting my ass kicked by this guy. Then I took your advice on guarding over dodge and I beat him 1st try. A real face palm moment, but thank you for the advice none the less. Definitely earned the like.

This is so much different that most souls games I've ever played. In most of the others, you can just hold block, so thats what I kept doing, and ultimately failing.

Guys, use 3 throwing cells at second phase of boss, it really, really helped me...maybe 30+% HP down in two seconds. You can buy them repeatly from vendor.
My only experience before this was dark souls 3 and that was years ago. I never blocked in that game, so it didn't occur to me to try it here. Now I have a chance lol.
Which sword is better for the beginning bosses? just starting to play and have the rapier and see the great sword here.? thx

O don't know how to beat this boss, o do have a few issues with my hands with nerve damage, and I've changing controls to be sensitive or change oritation of buttons I feel like this game developer has had quick easy 60 quid out of me I never felt this low, is there any other advice out there ?
I'm starting to get better at fighting him during my last attempt I managed to get most of his heath down I still died but at least I'm getting better at the game 🎮 😅

You can buy 3 electric bombs from the vendor that make the fight much easier - use them at the end.

For anyone on strength build, switch to weapon "wintry rapiers blade", its faster and you can get more hits in.
You can buy off the merchant near the boss

I had to restart cuz I’m at a later boss. And I was dying over and over. And this restart is harder for me. Parade master is tougher for me

I am struggling on this dang boss. I have beat ds1, Elden Ring, and ds2 and am now playing through Bloodborne and this boss is forcing me to learn how to block on kbm I am so frustrated! Thank you for your guide I will try my best to kick his butt
right? thats my biggest struggle. Blocking is so not my fighting style and i get forced to. i haaaate it 😂

One thing I disagree with on here is that the Parade Master doesn’t have a lot of range. He has a lot of range. My opinion. So blocking is good, but I recommend dodging here and there too.
The way you pronounce sekiro killed me

2:14 wait i thought those rage attacks can't be dodged and you have to parry it whether you like it or not?
They can't be blocked, you can parry or dodge them.

talking about how this boss is easy and shouldn't be a problem if youve played dark souls before... my brother in christ you barely beat him and youre the how to beat tutorial
Actively playing and trying to give advice is very hard to do. I’m sure if we look at his replay on his first attempt I’m sure he did perfectly fine without active commentary.
I thought i already fight some small bosses and thought "ohh wow this game is easy" but then faced the harsh reality 😂😢

Ok why does my dex sword only do like 80 damage and he heals half. I font see that happening here also my dudes health bar never went white. U hit him three times and his health is half i spend half hour chipping at his health he heals half the damage i do so when i get to second stage he heals up to 3/4 of his whole health so now I gotta fight him in his rage mode for a linger period. I also tried to grind. I got like six levels and now im blocked from leveling up. Just a Very Different expirience than what I see here.
Update, umm I was trying to dodge more but i always found myself too far to attack before he recovered. The game is played more like sekiro u gotta block more and time them and follow with sword attacks. Youll be able to land multiple since your there already and not trying to close the distance.

Why is the game telling me fury attacks cannot be blocked, but you are telling me they can be perfect blocked? The game says otherwise. It tells me I can only dodge those.
Ive played through most of bloodborne all the way until the end, not the final boss though. And i still had trouble with this shit man smh

Brooooooo I play souls games and bloodborne is one of my favs!!! BUT im a dodge and roll guy lol this game you HAVE to parry, I died about 5 times until I tried your method and killed him 1st try, his weapon breaks after a certain amount of Parry’s….. its extremely easy if you just stand there and parry everything lol

People said this was hard and I beat it 3rd try with rapier. Just dodge and he can never hit you, I honestly think you might be invincible during rolls cause 2nd phase u can roll right through his swings. If your struggling just use throwables on 2nd phase, they are OP and do so much damage. Idk maybe cause I’m used to dark souls but I found this easy, I hope it gets more difficult.
This is the first boss? I thought it was the second one. Yeah this is my first Soulsbourne experience. This is why I don't play these games. Too damn hard.

If you're having any difficulty with this boss it may be because you're new to soulslike games....barely survives the boss in the video. 😂
such a fking hard game, I think you are more leveled up from doing later stages in this tutorial, you arent taking any damage from hard hits, thats not possible

Now I know I’ll sound like a bad player here but I’ve played it 300 times and haven’t seen any improvement since round 4 🫥
OK, so I finally got past it a tip that I would like to share it to upgrade your health as high as possible, then try to get his health down by collecting those little trinkets that you can throw it in, but not like the electric ones, then you use like the fastest sword and then you try to block him as best as you can use your health thingies when you’re getting kind of low so that if you get hit because you didn’t make a good block, then you won’t take as much damage due to health being upgraded and then once you got in past half health or somewhere near like the second stage or actually the second stage, then you can use those electric throwing bottles to get them down and then you just like have to take the hits from there with also you dodging and stuff and then you’ll get them Lona for all you have to do is just go up to him and take the hits and get them really down!
