    He's laughing like that because if you bothered to watch the whole interview, Megyn Kelly has asked him the same question 10 times by now with different wordings, and by the end he's so frustrated, he starts laughing and, on multiple occasions, asks her, "Did you hear what I said?"

    • @michaelt.5672

      @Stoikor Před 6 lety +258

      Multiple times. She isn't dumb, you know. She is just playing her part. Coz if you ask the same question 10 times, you will have 10 responses to choose from to broadcast on actual TV. It's simple. You pick and choose the answers, and then show the "short version" that will be viewed by the millions. Long version will only get 1/4 of that. Meaning, you can control what you spill, and what image you want to portray of certain events. Simple journalism..*ghm*...propaganda.

      The whole interview is so different from the edited NBC version... Kelly just looks silly and insolent, asking the same questions over and over again, no matter how flawlessly Putin answers them. More people need to see that, not the bullsh*t western medias broadcast.

    • @theblindcritic5876
      @theblindcritic5876 Před 6 lety +141

      Yes, he did. In summary, his response was that if such a thing did happen, it wasn't at the direction of the Russian government. If private individuals were responsible, he cannot, and will not, detain them or prosecute them unless they broke existing Russian laws in the process. Otherwise, as he states in this snippet as well, he doesn't care about American elections - and why should he? When Kelly brings up indictments in American courts or Congress, he rightfully argues that he, as the Russian President, has no interest in what American courts say. And then says that if the Americans do have proof his citizens did something, instead of sending a journalist to ask him about it, they're supposed to send an official request to the Attorney General (or whatever the equivalent Russian position is) of Russia so that they can conduct their own investigation; however, he claims, such a request has not been sent and, therefore, he cannot initiate any enquiry against his citizens without such an occurrence. He even brings up the fact that if Americans believe one of his citizens has committed a crime, they could ask for extradition but that requires both countries signing treaties on the matter and while Russia has brought up the subject multiple times, Amercians have always refused. The same, he says, is the case with a treaty on proper conduct in cyberspace, where Russia has again asked the US to sit down with them and sign a treaty, but the US refuses.

      Because by blaming Russia in misuse of chemical weapons, they will later bring the point that Russia has no credibility to defend Bashar Asad, who was blamed without any evidence for killing civilians with chemical weapons. And then, they think, that will give them right to bomb Syria out of its independence forever, like they did in Iraq, with the same reason, provided FAKE evidence (and everybody knows about this shameful fact and great number of murdered civilians in Iraq as result) and grab to its resources. It is last chance, that is why it looks so stupid and pathetic.

    If an organised body has the resources to pull off something like an international double assassination does it not stand to reason that they'd also have the intelligence to choose the type of poison used to suit their own agenda? I remember as a young child in school shooting rubber bands at another pupil whilst in the vicinity of another child who had a desk full of rubber bands knowing full well he'd get the blame, if 6 year old me had the smarts to do this surely an international assassin would likely use Russian poison to shift blame to the Russians?

      Even an idiot knows what the russian "test results" would be before those tests even happen.
      Hell will freeze over before the russian government would admit to an assasination.
      So what would be the point of handing over a sample? All it would do is to allow russia to take control of the conversation.

      Does *not* need to since the conspiracy that Putin gave Trump the Presidential victory is nothing but a farce. He knows it, Wikileaks knows it, William Binney knows it. Basically every level-headed person and independent news outlet there knows it.
      There is a difference between State-sponsored interference which also *never* occurred. No proof off yet, though accusations going round. As he said, there are 146 million Russians. Only a tiny fraction are Government officials. What the other 99.9999% does is not State related and thus no interference by him or his government in America.

      Actually Russia might be behind brexit and I'm not joking. Here is the thing there has been a strong rise in nationalism and populism propagated by anti immigrant propaganda by far right groups who have roots in eastern Europe. There is a simmering objective to divide destroy the EU and make the European population turn against its own governments and to take a hard line right wing approach to solving solutions. The aim is to use false information to attack western liberal democracies and replace them with far right fascist forms of government that will side with Russian and Chinese ideology. When the EU is divided it makes Russia strong because they can form a unified force against it. A divided Europe is what Russia wants. What I'm saying might sound stupid but its true. This whole type of politics only benefits Russia and China.
