DRONE & Fountain Show 4K June 2023 Longwood Gardens

- ✨Debut (Put up your volume!) Ticketed special event featuring drones choreographed to the music of animated movie favorites along with the dancing fountains at Longwood.
It was a sold out, bring your own chair event & I wanted to get water & sky at the same time all while sitting & having people sing their heart outs to the songs they knew. I found an area with a speaker for the music thank goodness.
I thought the drones would just show up in the middle of the song but you'll see how they were incorporated.
Wasn't sure how detailed the drone designs were going to be - do you think it was more entertaining than the usual fireworks they would do for an event night? Let me know in the comments.

Gotta admit, the drone light show looked better than I thought it would. I haven't seen it in person, so l am not sure how it compares to their Fountains and Fireworks show. Though I do hope they will have more of those drone shows with better music selection in the future.
I had low expectations so I wasn't disappointed lol. I do like the concept of drones and the endless designs you can do with them. What music would you like more? During the summer you can see on their website the musical offerings for just the fountain shows if you are in the area (still a passholder?) Here is the info for the 2nd shows: Put Me In, Coach: September 28, 29, and 30 at 8:15 pm
From Eye of the Tiger to We Will Rock You to Centerfield, iconic themes from your favorite sports movies. I bought my tickets together, so I guess that's what I'm seeing....lol
@@Visio.Vibes1 Actually I did take a look at the music selection. Dont get me wrong the list isnt bad, but I have seen better from past visits.
One music selection I would love to see return to Longwood, is Gustav Holsts the Planet Suites. That was the first Illuminated Fountain show I remembered seeing back when we first ever visited Longwood Gardens the same year the newly restored Main Fountain Garden debuted, and it was one of my two favorite illuminted fountain shows I have seen(the other one being Monets Garden). I would love to see a drone version of the Planets suites.
And no I am not a passholder. Longwood Gardens is a 6 hour drive away from where I am from. I have gone at least once a year for the past several years, though I decided to skip out this year for several reasons.
@@aquamaster5131 Thx, didn't know maybe for "x-reason" you came to the area for a time so didn't want to assume, so better to ask about the passholder status. It appears that they want to keep the music family friendly & to have young audiences engaged. Classical music happens here and there with the Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 2 being a new one. I agree with your recommendations and may try to hit Aug3rds Monets Garden if I can. If they survey folks, I'll put a word in for Planet Suites, esp for the drones. It's good they hear from all.😊
