this show was recorded before the album was even out and no one had heard this record or any of their live stuff. the audience came not really knowing what to expect - for me, i had to listen to this record a couple times before i could really appreciate it and get my head around it to be fair.
plus, abbey road is not really the sort of environment to be going mental in. also they were all told to sit down and had headphones on to listen to the mix - so it was a very laid-back, intimate gig where the band brought there own friends and fans to listen to their new shit for the first time ever.
definitely one of the top 10 albums of the 2010s... hits the spot of the compulsion i think lots of young people were experiencing.
it still sounds good. I'm still listening to SBTRK today.
