You don't find people willing to repair things like this any more, you are fantastic! Thank-you for sharing:)
Mine just went dead. First thing I though was a thermal fuse opened. Then I saw your video and that confirmed it. Thank you.
Glad to help!
Amazing lady!
Thank you!!!! This just happened to my pot so going to try this fix!
Easy fix! You got it!
good job!!!
Older appliances had a fuse socket for a glass fuse on the back so you could easily replace without tools anytime the fuse went out. You could solder one of those sockets in place so that you can use a standard fuse replacement.
Nice job on the repair. I wasn't as lucky with mine though. My element is bad.
Sorry to hear that
Every time I plug my Instant pot in it trips my GFCI outlet. I'm wondering if I'm having the same issue with a blown fuse.
You are AMAZING!!!👏👏👏 I cannot believe you don't have more likes on this video! Bless your beautiful heart! Hugs 💗🤗💝👍🌍♻️ it's sickening these companies arent supporting and helping the public🤬 Thank tou CZcams💝
Is your instant pot still up and running?.. have you run into any more issues?
Thank you for your sweet comment! ❤️❤️❤️ my InstantPot is still running with no issues 😊
@@realdeals-n-thrillsI asked this question on a different comment what is couponer?
Excellent thank you for showing us and teaching us how to save it. Where did you order the fuse from? Was it instant pot or where please?
Thank you. The link to the fuse and soldering kit is in the description 👍
those fuses are usually crimped soldering can blow them, they are thermal fuses
Can you elaborate? I don't understand your comment? Are you correcting her work after she made it work?
Also, Can you also say why companies don't make these repairable or help ppl! 😢
@@dianeibsen5994 they blow by getting to hot . soldering can blow them if you are not quick enough or its a low temp thermal fuse.they usually crimp them with a brass ferrule, i use an empty pop rivet squashed with pliers to make the joins
Good job! Just a small piece of input if you don't mind! Always be careful while doing any electrical repair, turn the power off before touching any naked wire!
I didn’t though 🤷♀️
@@realdeals-n-thrillsCan you say what you mean? I saw you plug it in after you fixed it, so you did unplug it yes?
Hi real deals. I'm not sure what couponer means, what that is? I was just really surprised that somebody was asking that question that's all
Do you use heat shrink to wrap the cables? If not you should to protect the cables from touching anything.
I don't understand your comment? can you elaborate? are you correcting what she made work?
@@dianeibsen5994 google 'heat shrink tubes'. they are interesting things.
Good job! Did you have a coupon for the supplies?😉
I wish! Lol
That's an interesting comment. what do you mean? Are you talking about some sort of kickback? 😧
I am a couponer and I share deals, so that’s why someone made that comment. No, there’s no kickback on this one, just sharing my experience.
You are fantastic but that is a lot of work for me. Mines will be going in the trash tonight
Oh no! How old is it? Have you tried contacting them, it might be covered under your warranty.
I have a brand new unit. The timer blinks, but I can get the OFF indicator, showing power. But am unable to generate heat. Think my issue is the same as yours? A bad fuse? Thanks:)
I don’t think this is the same problem. You should be able to contact them to let them know, and since it’s knew they will be able to help you.
@@realdeals-n-thrills I think I am screwed then :). I took it apart.
Could you fix it? I have the exact same problem here. It's just showing OFF, and nothing works
What if only teh sauté function is not working?
That could have something to do with the wiring.
@@realdeals-n-thrills thanks. Apparently teh inner dish wasn’t seated properly.
Try to reset to factory settings. Press ‘cancel’ until it beeps. Hope this works for you. This action resets to factory settings.
@susane4078 well that certainly worked for me! Thank you so much you're a live saver ❤
Smart lady and handy awesome 👌 👏 👍 ❤️🩹💗
Rice button doesn’t work anymore
Here’s another demo of a way to make this a quick connect for easy and fast replacement in the future, no soldering. czcams.com/video/cGFDcwcdM_M/video.html
You should of been a welder
This company is really bad at everything
