I’ve never played Duke, but I love Blood. The Extra Crispy mod was awesome, and this one looks on the same level. I’m trying this one out when I can. Is there an overhaul like this/EC for Shadow Warrior Redux?
I was honestly looking for that as well before, so I could play it myself. Sadly, there is no such thing for that. Duke Nukem 3D has good portion of mods, Blood has less and Shadow Warrior has none. It's disappointing, really.
Mostly because the Desert Eagle is powerful more than enough on it's own. In this particular mod, two magazines Are enough to take down Battlelord, the ordinary one at least.
Does anyone noticed that when the sonic resonator chargers impacts the wall at 9:36 you can hear the same sound from the pulse rifle charge shot from half life 2 after it detonates.
Alien Rocket Launcher is also just a simple recolor of Spore Launcher from Half Life: Opposing Force official campaign add-on for original Half-Life, which was green instead of gray!
Some of the guns have excessive recoil. Pistols as an example. I can see some guns having recoil (desert eagle) but I feel like every gun has the "shake the screen because visual effects and immersive lol" mentality when its not needed on EVERYTHING.
The only mod i use is duke plus. But this mod is really promising because this mod adds many weapons for a more compleat arsenal and every weapon is in your inventory unlike duke plus where weapons just replace the same slots ex bfg replace devastator so if you want to use the other you have to enter the options to switch between them and it becomes a nuisance real quick. More importanly the weapon this mod is adding are real Duke weapons like SMG and grenade launcher are from N64 DN. Even the M16 assault rifle was the original weapon for DN Forever until they scrapped it and rebuild it so we got the DN Forever released in 2013, the Plasma gun was the original concept for what in the final version became the chaingun cannon ripper and so on. I really hope this mod is ready as is definetly promising
The spawns of the weapons depend on both RNG and the map. Alien weapons will either drop from the enemies or will spawn in place of normal weapons if you are currently in map which includes their base or so (At least I think it works that way). And when you are in urban map for example, you'll get the normal weapons, some of the weapon spawn will have small chance to be something a lil bit stronger, like the GLOPP Cannon. Otherwise, you can just open console and type 'give all'.
Отличный мод один из лучших,но к сожалению напортачено со шкалой выносливости,то есть нельзя долго бегать,герой задыхается и начинает ходить что отнюдь не помогает в битве с боссами и игре на больших картах,и к тому же задыхающегося Дюка из за этого будете слышать большую часть игры.И еще минус нельзя бить руками и ногами когда в режиме бега,только когда стоишь и только когда разбежался ногой в прыжке.Также минус маленький боезапас огнемета,заморозки.Из плюсов отличное,интересное оружие,например дробовик с разными патронами,добавлены отстрел голов монстрам,боссы стреляют энерго зарядами,и самое главное что мне понравилось это бочки которые при разрушении дымят зеленым дымом и дамажат-отравляют противника или тебя если стоишь близко,что добавляет немного интересной механики в игру.В общем это довольно хороший мод.😁

Lots of BS weapons...like bunch of chainguns, bunch of explosive weapons and energy weapons with similar functionality! Like who the hell needs multiple chainguns?! LOL Just stick with the most powerful one, same with various rocket launchers! Chainguns and Explosive weapons of lesser power and explosion radius become redundant as soon as you find more powerful one, they don't serve any tactical purposes, so what's the point?! I'd rather have more weapons with unique functionality, like having Disk Launcher similar to Ripper from Unreal series, with razorblade disks ricocheting off walls several times before sticking instead of having multiple Chainguns...at least weapon like that would offer some sort of arsenal variety...
@@GuraiMockery If you have good imagination you can have both - amount of choices and all of the weapons being unique! I can give you a list of at least 30 weapons right of the top of my head, where each weapon would be unique!

Crossbow, Longbow, Boulder Launcher, Cannonball Launcher and Spider Bug Gun, neither of those really fit into Duke Nukem 3D game, if I am being honest. Railgun and Tesla / Magnetic-based Weapon is needed in this mod on the other hand though. At the end of the day though, let us not get into argue over trivial thing. We both have different opinions, let us leave it at that.

So when we talk about D3D suddenly - it doesn’t fit?! Sorry, but i don’t buy it! That’s first and second, please do yourself a favor and google all the Crossbows and Longbows that ever existed! There are just like firearms come from different eras and are designed according to their era! Nobody says the Crossbow has to be medieval-designed, same for Longbow! Even Military Forces (especially US!) use both during nowadays operations…you have to be more open-minded when talking about these things…

It is ready. More features will come later however, like better gore. Give it a try, mate, it's a good mod and definitely fun to play through with.
Is it compatible with the fifth episode that came for 20th anniversary? It runs for duke plus but the new enemies are not workin

There a version without reloading? Kinda a deal breaker.
The reloading works as a challenge IMO. These guns are so powerful, they almost make the game too easy lol. Just my opinion though.
