    I've been waiting for this as well! Thanks! My question:
    Is one sub/top superior/same than than the Evox 12 or do you need two subs/top to match the same low end as the Evox 12?

      Sound has nothing to do with head count, but rooms do. If you look at the footage in the video that was a 200 person wedding with a sax and it was enough, but it was because of the room dimensions.

      @Jason_Jani  Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@burhanuddin127 I think the 910 is a much more capable speaker then anything QSC has ever released. RCF imho sounds better, is built better, and is just all around a better speaker. I would wait and save and buy rcf over qsc anyday and everyday.

    • @fiddleseth
      @fiddleseth Před rokem

      They aren't nearly as powerful as the QSCs, but it's not really about power it's about the quality of the sound. QSCs sound hyped and harsh to me in the high mids. The 515s sound a bit more neutral (but not as neutral as the FBT vertus line). The coverage on the 515 is nice too as they are essentially coaxial. I'm happy with mine, but I use them for small acoustic shows. Just used them yesterday for a kids' recital at an assisted living facility and they were perfect. I'm not saying these speakers are more suited to nursing homes but they were exactly what I needed for the space. If you're used to the somewhat harsh sound of normal two way point source boxes you might be disappointed with these.

    • @Jason_Jani
      @Jason_Jani  Před rokem +1

      I personally do not care for QSC speaker sound or components. I have never heard any of their speakers that connected to my style or the music in a positive way in comparison to the depth with other speakers on the market. I love the TouchMix by QSC. I was given a full truck of QSC speakers years ago, and after using them on two of my events, I sent the entire truck worth back as I coulld get behind them.

    • @WWeiss-nv5vz
      @WWeiss-nv5vz Před 6 měsíci +1

      Good news if you don't need the 130dB headroom of the TT10. I A/B ed them and was shocked. At medium to low volumes they sound exactly the same! I thought with the larger driver the TT10 would have better mids and low end. It doesn't! TT515 stays just as clean up to the limit light, just the TT10 will get that much louder. If you have the $$$ they are incredible but the QSC KW122 has very similar performance to the TT10 at $1,350 vs $3,500. KW has a much fuller midrange and same 130dB spec. 6 year warranty is also a big difference going with QSC. Downside KW 50 Lbs/TT10 27 lbs. Keyboardist from Dream Theatre Jordan Rudess uses the KW122.@@Bluemtb

      @@WWeiss-nv5vz appreciate the info! I am seeking maximum fidelity and solid SPL in a 15’ x 30’ music studio space. For live performance in clubs/outdoors I use NX32/Sub905AS-II rig (up to 4x905 as needed), and NX12sma stage monitors, AH Qu-Pac, so good sounding club rig. I currently have a pair of NX32 and 1 of the 905’s in my studio space. The 905 input trim is set at -16db and NX32’s turned down to balance (Live indoors clubs I run a pair of subs set to -10). Sending a rock mix with peaks at 0vu (still in the green on mixer) I am getting 105db on the spl meter c-weighted at 15’ in my studio space, and that is louder than I would ever use. I’m thinking a pair of 515’s and 808’s would likely do ok reaching hitting 100db with same material at 15’ and likely sound great.

      @@WWeiss-nv5vz I bought a set of 515’s and 808’s for my studio sound, they sound fantastic! The bass is great, not a hyped big bass box sound, but a linear and punchy bottom that really delivers a great bass response in my room. Headroom for days, first run with a live band using digital drums, filled the room great with solid drum kit volume and punch and still plenty of headroom to put vocals up top.
