This is true, but I can understand the people who enjoy keeping them untouched. I’m glad I finally unboxed them, though. I can appreciate them so much more this way! :)
Sorry if I sound morbid, but we don't know if we live to see another day.. so, my advice to everyone that is willing to listen, is open the boxes and appreciate the doll, feel the hair, dress and just be happy..I'd rather enjoy my collection than looking at a box for the rest of my life! 💜🌻
I am from the Caribbean......we don't keep dolls in boxes..... free the dolls & please stop apologizing for the decisions you make concerning YOUR DOLLS! No one has the right to dictate what you do with YOUR PROPERTY! Live & enjoy your hobby to the hilt.😁❣🤗

Funny story about the 1995 Holiday Barbie! My parents still have her boxed up in my old bedroom. They pre-ordered her before holiday time in 1994, about a month or two before I was born. It took until May of 1995 for them to receive it due to delays! I guess a lot of kids wanted her 💖
I am an out of box collector I have some boxed but the feeling take them out is great......Love the Winter Fantasy Barbie and Holiday Barbie.Hallmark barbies....Radiant of red is stunning!!! Got milk is a cute fun doll!
I agree, it’s always so much fun unboxing dolls. I love all the winter themed dolls…they’re so detailed! And of course I love Ruby, because red is my favorite color. And she’s adorable, too! It’s always funny to see what dolls Barbie makes, even a milk doll haha. :)
Can keep the boxes if you want to end up reselling them but regarding space it’s probably not worth it to keep empty boxes laying around, set them free 👍
I have all of those dolls except the Got Milk one...yet.🙂. I remember awhile ago (I've been watching your videos for years now) and you mentioned what happens to dolls left in the box. So I've been freeing my ladies, all of my older ones have had problems with the elastic dry rotting. My Sparkle Beach Barbie who had been kept in the box had this problem. She was the viriant with long hair. I keep all of my long hair dolls braided so it doesn't get messed up. The only ones that haven't had problems are the ones with lots of product in their hair. For me your advice worked although I still get complainers who tell me I devalued the dolls. Well, some of the ones I own are rare and they are in perfect condition despite not being in their original box. I didn't buy the doll as collectors items, I bought them because I liked them not to make money off them in the future. There are some boxed ones that I don't want to get rid of the box, like my Draculaura dressed as Dracula. I've got to figure out how to store her in it without damaging her or the box.🙂
I’m so glad you’ve been unboxing some of your dolls! The hair elastics are usually the first thing to go, and sometimes it damages the hair because it fuses to it. But if you catch it in time you can usually brush/wash it out. That’s how I feel about collecting dolls, too! Thank you so much for watching, especially through so many years ❤️
The yole tide romance and happy birtday are bloth amazeing I have both of them in my collection but my happy birthday is blonde. No need to be sorry for opening them just last week opened a 90s spring parade and a 90s holiday treat barbie because wanted them open.
I have those hallmark Barbie’s still in boxes I am thinking of all you said if they staying in the boxes are you going to save the boxes or throw them out let me know ok thank you for all the advice ❤
I personally save the boxes from a lot of dolls, but I collapse them down, or if there’s a larger box, I can fit some of the smaller boxes inside to save space! You’re very welcome! :)
Uhuul great dolls Jeane olds dolls catch your collection yeeeey uhuul 90slovers i looove the playline 90s eras got to milk its my favorrite take all the box its a collector decision your not have space keep or not all the box maybe all collectors not have huuuuge space is one the terrible complications for the collecting 😂
