As far as costumes..........they still have problem with leg warmer and under wear.................Beauty of the Dance.......is their moves and their body.............skirts are not even for the whole group........one longer than the other............under wear can be any color and any length if they didn't show while dancing........But the showed......if showed....they should consider dancer under wear instead of any kind as they can get............Over all, they costumes are too decorative ..................
Gux S what's wrong with dancing to a song that the crowd is familiar with? Also, the costumes looks fine to me. In terms of the skirts, the length will varied due to the different height of the dancers. I believe it's their spandex that's showing, not their under garment.

Skirt lengths : I am talking about skirt same length, Dancer different high...........so..........tall one .....skirt over the knee up few inches.....but shorter Dance got her skirt at knee............. 2. Hmong Skirt usually 2 or more inches above knee......most of the Dance throughout the whole song, spinning will waved or blew the skirt to see the under garment, and some dancer worn longer some shorter. Many years experience in High school dancer, others groups such, jazz, ballet, Folklorico, Dazante, they always worn their costumes in uniform no mater what design, but Hmong girl only care about the outside However, this is just critique so don't pay too much attention to my comments .......... because we, [Hmong] has not and know how to appreciate what dance is and mean yet.
Gux S: There is a reason why the skirts are short and reason why the outfits are unique. This is what hmoob usa is all about. It is competition. Not pleasure dancing. Hmoob dancing is not easy to dance to nor finding a song is easy too. Every movement, every song, and every outfit has to be right. They work hard and put effort into this. Not something you can understand or should say so easily to insult.
