What a garden tour! Robert and Emily, who are the stewards of Blau House and Gardens, graciously agreed to show us their magnificent garden. Blau garden was in private ownership since it's creation, and now we have a chance to peak inside this mature 2 acres space. Enjoy!

Beautiful! The owner seems so down to earth. Olga, this was a great choice for a tour,
WOW WOW Wow! What a garden! Absolutely gorgeous, and loved hearing the back story. Olga you are a wonderful interviewer. I thoroughly enjoyed this, thank you!
Thank you! Yes, wonderful stories behind this garden. I enjoyed it!
What an absolute blessing this is , the legacy , the preservation efforts , that you brought us along to walk through such an extraordinary garden ... Thank you so much !
You are so welcome! This garden is worth saving!
There is a lot of dappled sun. We have a lot of that. It was good to see all the flowers in what appears to be limited direct sun.
Yes, many mature trees around.
What lovely legacy to have and to share…..
Thank you so much for sharing this garden with us. It is encouraging to see that someone is preserving what so many people built and that they want it to be shared with others. Thank you to the people that are willing to preserve it🥰
Agree, such beautiful and mature gardens are gems.
Thank you for letting us share your beautiful garden landscape. Best of success for your Heritage Foundation.
Thank you, Robert and Emily are very excited for their garden to be featured!
So very beautiful. It’s amazing
Wow! What a truly magical and beautiful garden. It exudes feelings of tranquility, peace and harmony with many creative focal points so perfectly placed. Emily’s father truly was a visionary. Thank you, Olga for bringing us along on this joyful, very special visit, and thank you to Emily and Robert for sharing this wonderful garden. They both spoke with such passion, you could tell how much it means to them. Truly a unique legacy well worth preserving.❤
Agree, beautiful legacy worth preserving. And such a mature garden, which can't be bought or created right away!
Now that's what I call a legacy! Really great tour. Thank you, Olga.
You are welcome, I really enjoyed it.
Beautiful Garden and tour. Thank you!
Beautiful family garden gem, indeed!!
All I can say is….wow! Love it❤
That is one magnificent garden!
I am a Blau in Minnesota. I also am a gardener.
Wow, what a coincidence! Maybe there is a relation?
A work of art! Beautiful. TY
Thank you Olga for showing us this amazing garden!
My pleasure 😊. It was a really nice place to experience!
What a beautiful place , All of it .. just perfect ! ❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing this is a wonderful video. Always a classy lady Mrs Olga. This property is stunning.
Thank you! Agree, stunning property. And thank you for your lovely compliment!
Wow! Beautiful landscape! I noticed the 3 white oaks had a vine climbing on them - hope it's not English Ivy because it will eventually kill the tree if not removed. My property had a lot of it in the woods and I lost a couple trees and ephemerals before I knew better.
You know, I talked to Robert about that English Ivy, and he said that there is a plan to take it down. They just need to secure the property and with the help of Master Gardening Program they will be doing a lot of work in that beautiful garden!
Lovely, thank you✨✨
You’re welcome 😊
Absolutely stunning! What a great tour. Thank you for sharing these beautiful gardens with us.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Blau is blue in German. Funny all your clothes was the right color scheme 🧢👖🥿🩱👗🫐🧿🪣💙🩵🌀🔵🔹🔷🟦
I never thought about it! Yes, dress color was fitting. And Robert's shirt was blue!
Thanks for the tour Olga! Such a peaceful place and a lovely story!
My pleasure 😊
What an exquisite garden, thanks for sharing!
It’s beautiful! We need more public gardens in CT. Have you done other video tours?
This is the first one, and it was beautiful. Any folks with beautiful gardens who would love to be featured and filmed, please contact me. We love to peek into beautiful spaces.
Thanks for sharing, new subscribers here
Welcome! It is good to have you here!
I'm trying to do this on one-quarter acre.
This was an amazingly beautiful garden tour with such a personal family history. Thank you for creating and sharing. At the end there was a comment from Robert saying they hoped people will help them save the property....is there more information about that, and if interested, where tax deductible contributions to the Blau House and Gardens non profit organization may be made?
I contacted Robert and Emily, I will put that info under the video. Thank you!
@@OlgaCarmody Thank you very much.
Do they know about how Boothe Park's preservation is set up? Maybe they could do something similar?
I really don't know how it is set up. Any website I can read?
@@OlgaCarmody I don't know the details either but it was donated to the town and they are responsible for maintaining the buildings and the non-profit Friends of Boothe Park cares for what's inside them and organizes events.
Olga, I have a question, please. Is your lady of shallot rose a good rebloomer? Thank you in advance!!
I wouldn't say it is a great rebloomer. Maybe I expect a lot from reblooming rose.
Personal preference for me is that vocal audio be cast into a mono channel so that it's equal between both ears. Find it jarring when there is hard left right vocal audio, especially when it mismatches on screen.
Critique aside, always love the garden walks. :)
OK, looks like you know something good here. How do I make the sound better? Can you direct me to a good learning source ( I really know nothing about sound system). I just keep it as is. Thank you!
@@OlgaCarmody it really depends on what software you're using as to the how to. At a glance on YT, Sam Woodhall has some nice sound tips and tricks videos for more advanced sound stage editing, but I'd recommend simply looking for "[your software] sound editing" tutorial searches to get started.
@@ScottIsMyName Lovely, thank you! Two heads are always better than one!
too much talking, it would be ok if while they are talking you would pan the garden instead of focusing the lens on the people.
Thank you for a constructive criticism. I appreciate it.
